More music channels that I love
Another group of music channels that I visit frequently and that I love.
I'm back with more music channels I follow and want to share with you, because it's great music and I'd love for you to listen. My musical tastes are very varied; I like everything from Latin rhythms, rock, and pop to classical music. I've always been loyal to listening to what I like, without worrying too much about the genre. Of course, there are musical styles I listen to very little, but even among them, like reggaeton, there are songs I liked at one time. I don't stick to any specific musical genre, but there are certain styles I like more than others.
I follow tons of music channels, bands, and singers, and it's been a lot of fun categorizing them by style in the posts I've shared in this community. I have more posts in the works because I want to focus each one on similar channels, so they're better categorized and those who want to listen can find them easily.
The first channel I recommend is Warner Classics, owned by Warner Music Group. There you'll find a large number of music videos from various artists, all focused on classical music. It's a real pleasure to explore the entire channel, as there's something for everyone within this genre, from interpretations of great classical masters to operas and even interviews with important artists. I have my favorite videos, the ones I always come back to watch and listen to.
To get you hooked on this channel, here's a video of a real couple who, besides being married, are opera singers. In this video, they perform "Pa-Pa-Pa-Papagena," a piece from Mozart's opera The Magic Flute. This video is one of the most viewed on the channel, and simply watching their performance is a delight.
Vuelvo con más canales de música que sigo y que quiero compartir con ustedes, porque es buena música y me encantaría que la escucharan. Mis gustos musicales son muy variados; me gusta de todo, desde ritmos latinos, rock y pop hasta música clásica. Siempre he sido fiel a escuchar lo que me gusta, sin preocuparme demasiado por el género. Claro que hay estilos musicales que escucho muy poco, pero incluso entre ellos, como el reguetón, hay canciones que me gustaron en su momento. No me aferro a ningún género musical específico, pero hay ciertos estilos que me gustan más que otros.
Sigo muchísimos canales de música, grupos y cantantes, y ha sido muy divertido clasificarlos según sus estilos en las publicaciones que he compartido en esta comunidad. Tengo más publicaciones en preparación porque quiero centrar cada una en canales similares, para que estén mejor categorizadas y quienes quieran escucharlas puedan encontrarlas fácilmente.
El primer canal que les recomiendo es Warner Classics, propiedad de Warner Music Group. Allí encontrarán una gran cantidad de videos musicales de diversos artistas, todos enfocados en la música clásica. Es un verdadero placer explorar todo el canal, ya que hay algo para todos los gustos dentro de este género, desde interpretaciones de grandes maestros clásicos hasta óperas e incluso entrevistas con artistas importantes. Tengo mis videos favoritos, aquellos a los que siempre vuelvo a ver y escuchar.
Para que se enganchen a este canal, aquí les dejo un video de una pareja real que, además de estar casados, son cantantes de ópera. En este video, interpretan "Pa-Pa-Pa-Papagena", una pieza de la ópera La flauta mágica de Mozart. Este video es uno de los más vistos del canal, y simplemente ver su interpretación es una delicia.
The next channel I want to recommend is that of the singer Lucie Soutenez, known simply as Lucie. She's a child; I don't know her current age, but she's still a minor. She doesn't have her own YouTube channel. This Czech girl participated in one of the seasons of The Voice Kids, impressing many with her talent. I first heard her in one of those The Voice Kids videos and I loved her performance.
She has recorded several songs with Emilio Piano, who does have his own YouTube channel, where you can find videos where they both combine their talents to delight us with their music and voices. So, I'm sharing the video for the song "Maison" from Emilio Piano's channel and a video of Lucie's performance on The Voice Kids in 2023. This girl is fantastic in both!
El siguiente canal que quiero recomendarles es el de la cantante Lucie Soutenez, conocida simplemente como Lucie. Es una niña; desconozco su edad actual, pero aún es menor de edad. No tiene canal propio de YouTube. Esta chica checa participó en una de las temporadas de The Voice Kids, impresionando a muchos con su talento. La escuché por primera vez en uno de esos videos de The Voice Kids y me encantó su interpretación.
Ha grabado varias canciones con Emilio Piano, quien sí tiene su propio canal de YouTube, donde pueden encontrar videos donde ambos combinan su talento para deleitarnos con su música y sus voces. Now let's talk about a quartet that I also loved when I discovered their channel. I think they're Romanian, and their channel has over 600,000 subscribers, so they definitely have a good fanbase. I find them excellent because they fuse classical music with electric chords. Their name is quite long: Amadeus - The Electric Piano Strings Quartet.
The video I've attached of this group is where they perform "Carol of the Bells." A while ago, I saw a film that explored the origin of that song, which is a Ukrainian folk song sung at Christmas. The film I recommend is called "Shchedryk," which is also the song's original title. The film is from 2022, in case you're interested in looking it up. I don't remember if I wrote a review; I searched on Hive and couldn't find it, so I probably forgot to write a post about it. They really enjoy the song in the video.
Ahora hablemos de un cuarteto que también me encantó cuando descubrí su canal. Creo que son rumanos y su canal tiene más de 600.000 suscriptores, así que sin duda tienen una buena base de fans. Me parecen excelentes porque fusionan la música clásica con acordes eléctricos. Su nombre es bastante largo: Amadeus - The Electric Piano Strings Quartet.

Hace un tiempo, vi una película que exploraba el origen de esa canción, que es una canción folclórica ucraniana que se canta en Navidad. The following recommendation comes with a touch of sadness, as it's the channel of a soprano who, sadly, is no longer with us. Patricia Janečková passed away three years ago, but her voice lives on in her YouTube channel. Cancer took the life of a person with a prodigious voice. In the video I've included in this post, she performs one of Mozart's operettas. You can visit her channel and listen to many other performances. May she rest in peace.
La siguiente recomendación viene acompañada de cierta tristeza, pues se trata del canal de una soprano que, lamentablemente, ya no está entre nosotros. Patricia Janečková falleció hace tres años, pero su voz permanece inmortalizada en su canal de YouTube. El cáncer se llevó la vida de una persona con una voz prodigiosa. The following channel is quite unique. Don't be alarmed if you see a lot of Japanese characters in the video titles and descriptions. It belongs to the Japanese soprano Ayano Nonomura, and I love her. This woman is also fantastic in her performances. The channel has over 11,000 subscribers, but I think it should have many more. However, many Westerners might overlook it because of the Japanese titles. Give it a chance; visit her channel and watch her videos. I'll leave you with one of my favorite songs from the film Cinema Paradiso. Let's remember that the soundtrack for that film was composed by the maestro Ennio Morricone, and I hope you enjoy Ayano Nonomura's performance.
El siguiente canal es bastante singular. No se alarmen si ven muchos caracteres japoneses en los títulos y descripciones de los videos. Pertenece a la soprano japonesa Ayano Nonomura, y me encanta. Esta mujer también es fantástica en sus interpretaciones. El canal tiene más de 11.000 suscriptores, pero creo que debería tener muchos más. Sin embargo, muchos occidentales podrían pasarlo por alto al ver los títulos en japonés. Denle una oportunidad; visiten su canal y vean sus videos. To conclude this post, and given that there are many soprano fans here, I recommend the Metropolitan Opera's YouTube channel. For those of us who can't attend a live performance, we have their YouTube channel, so at least we can enjoy them through videos. That's why I love living in this internet age. When I was young, we could only imagine these shows. Seeing them live must be incredible, so there's so much to watch on this channel. Here's a scene from the popular opera Carmen.

Watching the faces of the first couple as they sing is a real treat; they’re enjoying it so much that it’s infectious. I’m not really into opera, but their voices are spectacular, it’s brilliant. The girl’s voice simply gives you goosebumps!
When I got to the second recommendation, I was blown away and wanted to find out more. Lucie is between 16 and 17 years old, according to the internet. An amazing voice, and the pianist is top-class. What a beautiful channel, even if it isn’t hers; I love how they perform together.
I hope you’ll write that review of that film, because the video is marvellous, that Ukrainian group is incredible!
Honestly, I can’t believe this soprano has passed away; she’s so young and such a prodigy. How sad…
I recognise this Japanese artist’s song; I love it, and what power there is in that voice, she really should have more followers, just as you say.
The last video brought back lots of memories for me, because when I was teaching I had two students who were opera fanatics, and this was their favourite piece.
