MY DIY GUITAR PLECTRUM HOLDER MAKING PROCESS. NO MORE MISSING PLECTRUMS

Hello Q-inspired family, I'm Jaydr if you ve not met me yet, its nice to have you reading my post, I appreciate it and here I'm doing a DIY post and showing how it was DONE, I came about solving a long-term problem which has affected my guitar playing for a while. This problem is a problem of often losing My guitar plectrum. I play the guitar for most 10 years or more now and I'm glad for that the process has been quiet cool and I've been making some good progress especially grateful for her HIVE platform has been very instrumental in all of this especially over the last 2 years but for some of these is one thing I had noticed was that I was always miss placing my guitar plectrum and it wasn't so cool for me.

Is it really a plastic curved handheld device that is used to strum the guitar and also to play especially when you don't want to use your fingers, I had gotten accustomed to several finger patterns and fingering the Guitar was my best way of playing however when it comes to loudness or playing in an open place where there are other instruments playing along and you want to hear yourself play in the right thing with these other instruments you might need to use a plectrum.

I have purchased several plectrums over the years and most of them get lost or missing or I don't even get to use them because of their slick nature they can be forgotten or misplaced somewhere easily.

But today I came up with an idea I needed, some guitars used to have a plectrum holder but none of my guitar has any of that, I have three guitars, 2 acoustic, one of which is a semi-acoustic and the third one is my sphire electric guitar.

I chose to create a guitar plectrum holder for them and also show how the process has been for me

So first I used a polymer nylon which was part of the package that came with the strings I bought recently to change for my semi acoustic guitar.

That was thick enough to hold whatever I could put inside

And then I measured a plectrum from a pack of plectrums which I bought recently and so just the extent to which I would need to cut

What are the materials I used, a gum, a pair of scissors.

It's simply going to be diy.

Here's a picture of the guitars showing the process

I cut the polymer into the right sizes having measured the plectrum

I applied the glue on the polymer

I applied the polymer to the part of the guitar where I want to hang a plectrum

I applied some pressure while the glue dries up

This is the final outcome

And here is how it shows up on the other guitars I have

I believe now that I have more plectrums and I also have a way of keeping a plectrum safe especially while traveling. I should not have to lose another plectrum for any reason. I should probably give out or sell off some of these ones that I have here, over 50 of them.

So in case anyone needs a plectrum its just a small price hehehe.

Thank you for reading my post.

Omo, I miss the days I used to learn guitar sha 😩
Very innovative solution, boss.
A word of caution though. A pick will always dissappear. One can only mitigate it for so long 😂😂😂

Keep up the good work!

Thank God I also knew the play without it. I would have been casted in some places. When you check everywhere checkable and see nothing.

Hey, that was a good move to make this plectrum holder, a great idea as you didn't have to spend a lot of money on the material. Smart :)

Oh, but you have some 50 or so plectrums? haha, you can lose a few of them (just a joke ;) )

Btw, how are you doing? What is new at your side? A lot of work?

Greetings
