(ESP-ENG) Un género musical que no se apaga: El EDM.

La musica electrónica o el Dance es un género que ha logrado mantenerse en los oídos de las personas por muchos años, décadas quizás. Traigo esto el día de hoy porque no se si lo saben pero Spotify ahora incorporó una especie de IA en forma de un DJ que lo que hace es usar el algoritmo de nuestros gustos en la aplicación y comenzar a reproducir temas que son conocidos pero también te lanza algunos "nuevos" o que simplemente no escuchas con regularidad. La cosa es que entre esos temas ella reprodujo algunas canciones de EDM que tenía mucho tiempo que no escuchaba; razón por la que estoy acá compartiendolas con todos ustedes. Así que vamos con algunas de ellas.

Electronic music or Dance is a genre that has managed to stay in the ears of people for many years, decades perhaps. I bring this today because I do not know if you know but Spotify now incorporated a kind of AI in the form of a DJ that what it does is to use the algorithm of our tastes in the application and start playing songs that are known but also throws you some “new” or just do not listen to regularly. The thing is that among those tracks she played some EDM songs that I hadn't listened to for a long time; which is why I'm here sharing them with all of you. So let's go with some of them.

- Steve Aoki, Chris Lake & Tujamo - Boneless

Steve Aoki es de los grandes precursores y exponentes de este género, para mi tiene canciones de mucho más nivel que Guetta, Tiesto o Avicii. Este tema tiene 11 años, la verdad no es tan viejo como muchos de los grandes éxitos que sonaron en la época dorada de este musica que fue por allá a principios de los 2000. Evidentemente de las cosas más top de este tema es la rítmica que tiene que una vez la escuchas se te queda grabada en la mente. Creo que ese es el éxito de estas canciones, el gancho melódico para que estés todo el día tarareando la melodía. Es de mis preferidas, la energía que desprende es barbara, ideal para entrenar, para correr o para recibir un punch hasta en el estado de ánimo.

Steve Aoki is one of the great precursors and exponents of this genre, for me he has songs of much higher level than Guetta, Tiesto or Avicii. This track is 11 years old, the truth is not as old as many of the big hits that sounded in the golden age of this music that was back in the early 2000s. Evidently one of the top things about this song is the rhythm that once you hear it, it sticks in your mind. I think that's the success of these songs, the melodic hook that makes you hum the melody all day long. It is one of my favorites, the energy it gives off is barbaric, ideal for training, for running or to get a punch even in the mood.

- Showtek ft. We Are Loud & Sonny Wilson - Booyah

Este es otro de los grandes temas que sonaron hace más de 10 años de la mano de tres neerlandeses. A diferencia de la anterior este tema contiene letra lo que la hace más atractiva para mi porque hace que te identifiques más. Basicamente la letra nos dice que hay que darlo todo en los clubes, siempre tener una vibra alta, bailar hasta más no poder y dejarse llevar por el sonido y ritmo de la canción. Una de las características de este género es que no toda la canción está siempre al máximo nivel, tiene partes en donde la intensidad baja para que después poco a poco vaya en un crescendo hasta que llega al clímax y explota el sonido. Todos, absolutamente todos estos temas tienen algo común y es la melodía que te engancha, esta tampoco escapa de eso. Un tema infravalorado que por no tener autores de nombre es posible que haya sido pasado por encima, razón por la cual lo comparto por acá el día de hoy.

This is another of the great songs that were played more than 10 years ago by three Dutchmen. Unlike the previous one this song contains lyrics which makes it more attractive to me because it makes you identify yourself more. Basically the lyrics tell us that you have to give it all in the clubs, always have a high vibe, dance till you drop and get carried away by the sound and rhythm of the song. One of the characteristics of this genre is that not all the song is always at the highest level, it has parts where the intensity drops and then gradually goes in a crescendo until it reaches the climax and the sound explodes. All, absolutely all these songs have something in common and it is the melody that hooks you, this one doesn't escape from that either. An underrated track that because it doesn't have any name authors may have been overlooked, which is why I'm sharing it here today.

- Timmy Trumpet & Savage - Freaks

Si hay alguien que sabe como crear sonidos que son capaces de trascender sin dudas es Timmy Trumpet. Este artistas es australiano y además de ser Dj, compositor es trompetista. Si, no es un invento comercial ni nada por el estilo. Freaks es de las primeras canciones que se conocieron de él pero quizás la más conocida por todos sea "Narco" la cual sacó unos tres años después. Y si, parte de los sonidos de sus temas son reales sacados de una trompeta, de ahí a que a veces suenen tan bien. De todas las canciones que les estoy mostrando creo que esta es la más ácida, la más fuerte en sonido, la más pesada. También es cierto que ése tiende a ser más su estilo. Si se dan cuenta me estoy yendo hacia atrás pero no tanto, creo que las canciones de mediados de la década pasada se están quedando atrás porque las que se hicieron en los 2000 son muy complicadas de superar. Creo que estas tres canciones, todas contemporáneas entre si, son increiblemente buenas y no deberían de quedarse en un pasado escondidas.

If there is someone who knows how to create sounds that are able to transcend without a doubt is Timmy Trumpet. This artist is Australian and besides being a DJ, composer and trumpet player. Yes, it is not a commercial invention or anything like that. Freaks is one of the first songs that were known of him but perhaps the best known by all is “Narco” which he released about three years later. And yes, part of the sounds of his songs are real sounds taken from a trumpet, that's why sometimes they sound so good. Of all the songs I'm showing you I think this one is the most acidic, the strongest in sound, the heaviest. It's also true that that tends to be more their style. If you notice I'm going backwards but not that far, I think the songs from the middle of the last decade are getting left behind because the ones made in the 2000's are very hard to beat. I think these three songs, all contemporary with each other, are incredibly good and should not stay in a hidden past.

Versiones de Bella Ciao hay infinitas, de todos los estilos, sonidos y géneros. Dentro el EDM hay un fin pero esta de Steve Aoki nuevamente para mi supera con creces al resto por una cuestión de sonido y de voz de la cantante. Espero la disfruten.

There are infinite versions of Bella Ciao, of all styles, sounds and genres. Within EDM there is an end but this one by Steve Aoki again for me far exceeds the rest for a matter of sound and voice of the singer. I hope you enjoy it.
