Si hay algo que de verdad me molesta cuando un artista fallece es la cantidad de teorías conspirativas que hay entorno a eso, no por que sean mentira ya que alguna debe de tener algo de verdad, sino porque se minimiza el verdadero problema o causa real que no es otro que la depresión, ansiedad, adicciones a sustancias prohibidas y una vida llena de excesos. Avicii tenía tan solo 28 años cuando tomó la fatal decisión de acabar con su vida, una vida que prometía estar llena de éxitos y de buena musica porque si había algo que era él era ser extraordinario sobre un escenario. Pero muchos acá sabemos que el día a día de estos artistas es muy duro, solitario y demandante y que debido a eso muchos recurren al alcohol y otras cosas para "aliviar" ese dolor de tanta presión y hasta inconformidad en muchos casos y Avicii no fue la excepción.

Pero hoy venimos a hablar de su música, esa que a tan corta edad dejó y que hoy por hoy sigue marcando tendencia y dejando huellas y es que él no solo era un DJ sino que también buscaba transmitir otras cosas a través de sus canciones y sus letras, es algo parecido a Stromae cuando lo mostramos la semana pasada. Así que aquí va las canciones que más me llaman la atención de un artistas que fue y pudo haber sido más grande.

Esta es una de las canciones más introspectivas que tiene Avicii porque nos da señales de lo que pudo haber sido su filosofía de vida y la forma en como él pretendía vivirla. Es lo que les comentaba anteriormente, siempre buscaba hacer llegar un mensaje a todo aquel que escuchara sus canciones, no solo se trataba del sonido o del beat del tema, tenía que haber algo más. The Nights es una canción que nos habla de que tienes que vivir la vida como tu quieras, que no te guardes nada porque al final lo que vale es que te recuerden por como viviste más que por el dinero que llegaste a hacer. Y lo más importante es que esto se lo decía su padre por lo que el factor nostalgia también hace un poco de entrada acá. Unas frases que más pegan ahorita y sabiendo todo el contexto es: "He said one day you’ll leave this world behind..." - y en realidad todos tendremos ese destino eventualmente en nuestras vidas pero que él lo haya hecho más rápido de la cuenta pues no es justo. De los temas que más me gustan de Avicii, tanto por su sonido pero más aun por el mensaje tan cool que nos deja.

And the most important thing is that his father used to say this to him, so the nostalgia factor also plays a part here. One of the phrases that really hits right now and knowing all the context is: "He said one day you'll leave this world behind..." - and in reality we will all have that destiny eventually in our lives but that he has done it faster than he should because it's not fair. One of the tracks I like the most of Avicii, both for its sound but even more for the cool message it leaves us.
- Waiting For Love
Otra canción que tiene algo que decir y que por tanto es de mis favoritas. Es un tema que habla de amor y que gracias a el y a su existencia es muy complicado que hayan obstáculos en la vida que no puedan ser derrotados. Basicamente es la vida de un señor que se la imagina sin su amor más grande y de como es el tiempo sin estar con ella a su lado; por lo que el mensaje es claro: muchas veces nos imaginamos cosas, nos hacemos un lio en nuestra mente por fantasmas que de vez en cuando aparecen para atormentar pero si y solo si sabemos realmente lo que significa ser querido y estar y formar parte en la vida de la otra persona pues no habrá nada que pueda derrumbarnos. Esa es para mi la esencia de esta canción, una que también nos trae un sonido impecable que con sus siete años de haber sido estrenada puede sonar en cualquier sitio y estoy seguro que las personas bailarán y cantarán a su ritmo. Hay que recordar que en esa época, por allá a principios de la década de los 2010, la música electrónica tenia un auge abismal, sonaba en todos lados, de ahí a que estas canciones envejezcan tan bien, son temas que espero nunca pesen de moda y que no sean olvidados por las nuevas generaciones porque por lo menos la mía dudo que lo haga.

- Wake Me Up
La canción más increíble que tiene Avicii en su repertorio. Esto es porque es tan real y certera en su letra que es capaz de describir la situación de cualquier persona. Es un tema que nos habla un poco de esa lucha que tienen algunos por no ser capaces de pertenecer a un lugar, de no tener cabida en un sitio y sienten el rechazo y las malas miradas; esto lamentablemente es muy común y puede ser una de las razones que desencadenen pensamientos negativos. Avicii bien lo dice: I tried carrying the weight of the world but I only have two hands, muchas veces las pequeñas cosas pueden significar grandes desafíos para muchos y es allí donde comienzan los problemas. Pero entonces que hay que hacer? - no darte por vencido y encontrar tu verdadero sitio en el mundo y rodearte de personas positivas que te llenen de buenas vibras para que así la tuya cambie también. Es irónico que Avicii haya compuesto todos estos temas sabiendo por todo lo que pasó, supongo que las hizo para él mismo sabiendo lo que se venía y por lo que estaba pasando y así tratar de ayudar a los demás, esa es la forma en la que yo lo quiero ver. Me considero un gran fanático de él y enterarme de su muerte por allá en el 2018 fue algo triste porque realmente es algo que no esperas, en esa época estaba sonando machismo.

Cuando hablaba de teorías conspirativas me refiero a que él supuestamente a través de sus canciones estaba tratando de exponer el Pizzagate, esta red de pedofilia que aparentemente trabaja en las sombras. Una canción de él, For a Better Day, nos muestra como personas usan a niños como mercancía y muchos se hicieron eco afirmando que es posible que esta gente de poder haya estado detrás del suicidio de Avicii. Para mi no son más que especulaciones y vuelvo a repetir, minimizan el verdadero problema que afrontaba, problemas psicológicos y de salud producto del abuso de sustancias. Así que nada, lo importante es recordarlo como el gran artista que fue con las grandes canciones que nos dejó.
When I was talking about conspiracy theories I meant that he was supposedly through his songs trying to expose Pizzagate, this pedophile ring that apparently works in the shadows. One song of his, For a Better Day, shows us how people use children as merchandise and many echoed that it is possible that these people of power were behind Avicii's suicide. For me these are nothing more than speculations and I repeat, they minimize the real problem he was facing, psychological and health problems due to substance abuse. So nothing, the important thing is to remember him as the great artist he was with the great songs he left us.

It is true that many artistes die of those issues of anxiety, depression, loneliness and the likes. But I sometimes ask why they should be lonely. Their lives as celebrities should give them a comfortable life I guess.
Still I feel, it is the matter of self discipline to stay true to oneself and not try to be what the world wants you to be. It is only in being ourselves that, that we can achieve personal happiness. So artistes should learn too to give themselves value and live happily.

Being away from your family and loved ones for so long is hard, all the money and fame is not enough if you don't have someone to share it with. I feel that in the end many succumb to the pressure of always being on stage and showing their best face when in reality they are suffering from loneliness at its best.
The mind is complicated, and no matter how much you want to be well sometimes it is not possible.
