My entry in Praise and Worship Week 40

Hello to my #soundmusic community. I hope you are all doing well. I am also doing pretty well. Happy Friday to all my #hive family. Week 40 of praise and worship music has been started. I am a bit late this week because of my busy schedule. The theme of the week 40 is mercy. It is a wonderful theme.

We should be kind to human beings. We should be merciful to every creature in the world. Kindness is key to a good character.

Today I have come up with a soulful naat sharif. It is one of my favourite naat sharif. First I am writing it in my national language Urdu and then I will translate it into English.

یاد مصطفٰی ایسی بس گئی ہے سینے میں
جسم ہو کہیں اپنا جاں تو ہے مدینے میں

کونسی جگہ تیرے عاشقوں سے خالی ہے
ہر طرف ہیں پروانے، شمع ہے مدینے میں

یاد مصطفٰی ایسی بس گئی ہے سینے میں
جسم ہو کہیں اپنا جاں تو ہے مدینے میں

کون تیرے آقا ہیں پوچھا تو خضر بولے
کالی کملی والے ہیں رہتے ہیں مدینے میں

یاد مصطفٰی ایسی بس گئی ہے سینے میں
جسم ہو کہیں اپنا جاں تو ہے مدینے میں

کون ہے یہ دیوانہ کس کا ھے یہ دیوانہ
خلد میں بھی کہتا ھے جانا ھے مدینے میں

یاد مصطفٰی ایسی بس گئی ہے سینے میں
جسم ہو کہیں اپنا جاں تو ہے مدینے میں

The memory of Mustafa has settled like this in the chest
The body is somewhere, the soul is in Madinah

What place is empty of your lovers?
There are wings everywhere, there is a candle in Medina

Whenever get bored I recite this wonderful Naat Sharif. Its lyrics are very soul-touching. In my college days, I used to recite this beautiful Naat Sharif.

Being A Muslim it is our first and foremost duty to praise our beloved Holy Prophet PBUB. So we in the form of Naat Sharif praise our beloved Muhammad SAWW.
