HIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL Week 22 First Round (ENG-ESP): "The Wedding Song (Julia)" (Original)

Hello everybody on HIVE, and especially the Music Zone Community. My name is Jasper and I'm writing (and singing) to you from Cape Town in South Africa! Welcome to Week 22 / Round 1 of the Hive Music Festival! I have only done original songs so far for the Hive Music Festival, and I’m going to do another one today! I must say that I am starting to run out of original songs, and I need to start thinking about how to make my entries interesting when I start to play covers instead, but I have saved you a nice original song with a back story for this week!
THE STORY:
After dating for approximately 9 years, my lovely wife @juliabaker and I finally got married on 27 September 2014 at a beautiful wine farm venue in Cape Town. A lot of people said it was one of the best Weddings they have ever been to. I suppose it was a case where everybody was happy to see us finally “tie the knot”, rather than half of the people there thinking that we were crazy or something! At least it didn’t feel like anybody was going to try to stop the Wedding! Hahaha! Even most of the naughty uncles were relatively well behaved!
I decided to sing an original song for Julia at the Wedding. I thought it would be nice to start out sounding all soppy and sweet, but then add some rhythm and energy before people started to vomit! I even got three of my bravest friends to jump out with confetti, while wearing sunglasses, to show that change in energy from soppy to fun… and to act as my “shoop shooby-doo-wah” kind of chorus line, and dance about while I played and sang! I think a lot of people enjoyed that, so I will try to put their part into today’s performance as much as I can! Hahaha!

Hola a todos en HIVE, y especialmente a la comunidad de Music Zone. ¡Mi nombre es Jasper y les escribo (y canto) desde Ciudad del Cabo en Sudáfrica! ¡Bienvenidos a la Semana 22 / Ronda 1 del Hive Music Festival! Hasta ahora solo he hecho canciones originales para el Hive Music Festival, ¡y voy a hacer otra hoy! Debo decir que estoy empezando a quedarme sin canciones originales, y necesito empezar a pensar en cómo hacer que mis entradas sean interesantes cuando empiece a tocar versiones, pero les he guardado una buena canción original con una historia de fondo para esto. ¡semana!
LA HISTORIA:
Después de salir durante aproximadamente 9 años, mi encantadora esposa @juliabaker y yo finalmente nos casamos el 27 de septiembre de 2014 en una hermosa finca vinícola en Ciudad del Cabo. Mucha gente dijo que fue una de las mejores bodas en las que han estado. ¡Supongo que fue un caso en el que todos estaban felices de vernos finalmente "atar el nudo", en lugar de que la mitad de la gente pensara que estábamos locos o algo así! ¡Al menos no parecía que nadie fuera a intentar detener la Boda! ¡Jajaja! ¡Incluso la mayoría de los tíos traviesos se portaron relativamente bien!
Decidí cantar una canción original para Julia en la boda. ¡Pensé que sería bueno comenzar sonando todo sensiblero y dulce, pero luego agregar algo de ritmo y energía antes de que la gente comenzara a vomitar! Incluso hice que tres de mis amigos más valientes saltaran con confeti, mientras usaban anteojos de sol, para mostrar ese cambio en la energía de sensiblera a divertida... y para actuar como mi tipo de coro "shoop shooby-doo-wah", y bailar alrededor. mientras tocaba y cantaba! Creo que mucha gente disfrutó eso, ¡así que trataré de poner su parte en la actuación de hoy tanto como pueda! ¡Jajaja!

An amazing experience listening to the introduction on the Guitar and then this fantastic interpretation with your voice, and with the motivation that accompanies it.
