My Flashback Friday Inspired by my Beginnings in the Music (Eng-Esp)

Hello my hivers friends. Today on #Tbt I wanted to remember this great moment full of nerves and a feeling of independence. This was my first solo concert, the piece to perform was 'Schindler's List' soundtrack of a movie of the same name that is about how a man Oskar Schindler saves a large number of Jews from the Nazis. A piece full of nostalgia, some anxiety or haste, those like when you run away. I invite you to listen to it; but to continue with that first solo concert, I was accompanied by my teacher as second violin and it set a precedent. It marked an independence, the classes with him were over, it was time to begin my path in music.

¡Hola mis amigos hivers!. Hoy en #Tbt quise recordar este gran momento repleto de nervios y un sentimiento de independencia. Este fue mi primer concierto en solitario, la pieza a interpretar fue 'La Lista De Schindler' soundtrack de una película del mismo nombre que trata acerca de como un hombre Oskar Schindler salva a un gran número de judíos de los nazis. Una pieza repleta de nostalgia, cierta ansiedad o premura, esas como cuando huyes. Les invito a escucharla; pero para continuar con ese primer concierto en solista, me acompañó mi maestro como segundo violín y marcó un precedente. Marcó una independencia, ya las clases con él terminaban, era el momento de comenzar mi camino en la música.

In this path that I started a long time ago as a musician I was accompanied by three people, the one you see here in the picture is my friend and almost brother Angel Miguel. We were only three students out of almost 30 people and I was studying flute but one day I mentioned that I wanted to play the violin, although I knew it was not in my mother's possibilities to buy me one (by then my father had died and I was just starting to work but I only had enough for food). One day my teacher approached me and asked me if I really wanted to play violin, I said yes, he just told me come to class, and then we'll see how to do it with the instrument. It is worth mentioning that that boy you see there was the most skillful of all, he played pieces by ear and evolved in an impressive way, he was ahead of all of us after a year.

En este camino que comencé hace ya mucho tiempo como músico me acompañaron tres personas, en que ven aquí en la foto es mi amigo y casi hermano Ángel Miguel. Solo quedamos tres alumnos de casi 30 personas y yo estudiaba flauta pero un día mencione que yo quería era tocar el violín, aunque sabía que no estaba en las posibilidades de mi madre comprarme uno (para ese entonces ya mi padre había muerto y yo recién empezaba a trabajar pero solo alcanzaba para la comida). Un día mi maestro se me acerco y me preguntó si realmente yo quería tocar violín le dije que sí, él solo me dijo ven a clases, ya después veremos cómo se hace con el instrumento. Cabe destacar que ese muchacho qué ven allí era el más diestro de todos, sacaba piezas a oído y evolucionó en una manera impresionante, se nos adelantó a todos al cabo de un año.

She was the third person in the classes, the only woman in the group, but sometimes more macho than us 😂😂😂😂 we were inseparable to the point that they thought we were boyfriend and girlfriend. She and I were always more evenly matched, our advances more than by talent were always by effort and daily practice. Today the three of us are still friends, but of the three of us the only one who continued with music, although only as a hobby, was me? Beautiful memories, beautiful moments and I long with all my heart to be able to meet again one day.

Ella era la tercera persona en las clases, la única mujer del grupo, pero a veces más macho que nosotros 😂😂😂 éramos inseparables al punto de que creían que éramos novios. Ella y yo siempre íbamos más igualados, nuestros avances mas que por obra del talento siempre fueron por el esfuerzo y la práctica diaria. Hoy por hoy los tres seguimos siendo amigos, pero de los tres el único que continuó con la música, aunque solo como hobbie fui yo... Bonitos recuerdos, bonitos momentos y anhelo con todo mi corazón un día poder volver a reunirnos.
