Red is my Lucky Color - Run for Red ASEAN Hive Challenge Week #89
Hi, Asean Hive Community! Well, I want to join the Red Challenge but I have no time for gifs. I apologize for not following the rules. But I just want to share that Red is my Lucky Color. Well, this happened in the Philippines in January 2015.
This was also the year that I was planning for a solo travel to different countries. But I just wanted to share with you how lucky I was I got a call from a friend to invite me to join her in Manila.
Daren won a singing contest in Manila and we were expected to get featured on Philippine television. One of the perks was to watch The Voice Philippines Live Show in Manila.
Here was Jane and I at Resorts World Manila with our red outfits.
Enjoyed our dinner before the show started.
We took a selfie because we felt so nice.

We were able to watch the contestants performing and it was so fun. We were so thrilled to see it live.

We saw the celebrity judges in the flesh with Bamboo, Sarah Geronimo, Lea Salonga, and Apl.de.Ap from The Black Eyed Peas. Wohooo!

Behind the Scenes with a Filipino Celebrity Crush
Behind the scenes...
- When a celebrity crush was talking to me... I was shy, nervous and kept telling myself, "calm down, calm down." I can roll over with the kilig overload. ❤
- Get closer, as the director said for group picture... this time I was relaxed after talking to him. Then he asked me, "Why are you so smiling?"
- I answered, "I am just a smiling person." He was so fond talking to me and boom, he started to cuddle me.
Next time please with The Voice Coach in USA, Adam Levine...
I should consider myself lucky when a celebrity crush noticed me. I was very nervous that all I had to do was smile. But deep inside, I wanted to scream and hug him. Hahaha!
But what happened was, that he noticed my smile, he loved my smile. LOL. So, on and off camera, he was talking to me most of the time. Wow, feel na feel? He even asked me why I was so smiling but he was the reason why I smiled a lot.
I wasn't the contestant and not even the winner. But because Robi noticed me and hugged me, I felt like I was the winner. And there goes my winning smile who seemed like I won the jackpot lotto.
All photos were taken using a Nikon D5100 and thanks to ABS-CBN for their beautiful lighting inside the studio during the interview and the stage of The Voice of the Philippines.
Thanks to @justinparke for this week's challenge and you can join the fun here.

Wow, a red celebrity meeting, sounds like an exciting day. I don't watch TV anymore, but I have heard of The Voice before, I think there is a Cambodian one also. When I was very young my family and I went to California and got free tickets to be in the audience for a late night TV show. Because I was not yet 16 years old, I wasn't allowed to watch the LIVE taping, so I sit in the green room backstage with all the managers and agents, very interesting to see that world.
Yeah, it was interesting. But I realized that being a celebrity has a work hectic schedule. It was my friend who won but waking up to be on time for some interviews was really tiring. Haha!
