Hola amigos de Hive, hace meses no compartía con ustedes covers de guitarra, principalmente por que se habían dañado mis audífonos y sin ellos me resultaba muy complicado hacer los covers, pues bien tengo audífonos nuevos y aunque me tardé un poco en tomar la iniciativa de grabar un cover, aquí estoy nuevamente.

Hello friends of Hive, I haven't shared with you guitar covers for months, mainly because my headphones were damaged and without them it was very difficult for me to do the covers, well I have new headphones and although it took me a while to take the initiative to record a cover, here I am again.

En esta oportunidad quiero compartir WHen i come Around, de la bnada Norteamericana Green Day. Este tema pertenece al álbum Dookie, y es uno de los grandes éxitos de la banda. Sobre esta canción me llama la atención lo sencilla que es, y pensar en como una canción simple pero pegajosa, fue capaz de convertirse en una de las más populares y sonadas de la música rock en los 90’s, todo esto me hace pensar, en que a veces no se trata de la complejidad en cuanto a composición lo que hacen a un tema bueno, sino el feeling, que colocas en ella.

This time I want to share WHen i come Around, by the American band Green Day. This song belongs to the album Dookie, and is one of the greatest hits of the band. About this song I am struck by how simple it is, and think about how a simple but catchy song, was able to become one of the most popular and sounded of rock music in the 90's, all this makes me think that sometimes it is not the complexity in terms of composition that makes a good song, but the feeling that you put in it.

Creo que hay grandes genios de la música, que no necesitan ser expertos académicos, solo tener grandes ideas, buenas influencias musicales, y bueno aunque no puedo asegurar que Billy Joe Armstrong vocalista y guitarrista de la banda no es un gran músico académico. Creo es un ejemplo de ello.

I think there are great musical geniuses, who don't need to be academic experts, just have great ideas, good musical influences, and although I can't say for sure that Billy Joe Armstrong, vocalist and guitarist of the band, is not a great academic musician. I think he is an example of that.

En cuanto a la ejecución del cover pues se toca con afinación estándar en E, siempre va con acordes de poder, , creo que es una buena canción para que aquellos que están empezando a tocar la guitarra practiquen, pues es bastante sencilla de tocar. Solo hay que dominar el palmute, y el sentido de la rítmica.

As for the execution of the cover, it is played in standard E tuning, always with power chords, I think it is a good song for those who are just starting to play the guitar to practice, because it is quite easy to play. You just need to master the palmute, and the rhythmic sense.

Creo que el próximo cover que voy a tocar ba a ser Basket Case de esta misma banda pues es un tema que siempre he querido tocar y nunca me he decidido a tocarlo completo y grabarlo, creo que puede ser muy divertido.

I think the next cover I'm going to play is going to be Basket Case by this same band because it's a song I've always wanted to play and I've never decided to play it in its entirety and record it, I think it could be a lot of fun.
