Hola amigos de Hive, después de mi primera presentación con la banda tributo Korn, ha llegado una nueva etapa para la banda de agregar más canciones al repertorio, por lo que estaremos ensayando, Make me Bad, Shoot and Ladders, Freak on a leash, Ball tongue, Faget y Good God, para expandir el repertorio, y proponer nuestra participación en un nuevo evento.

Pues bien, ya he empezado a aprenderme los temas, y hoy quiero compartir con ustedes Shoot and Ladders, un tema del disco debut homónimo.

Well, I've already started to learn the songs, and today I want to share with you Shoot and Ladders, a track from the eponymous debut album.

Esta canción siempre me llamó la atención por su canto que pretende ser como el canto de cuna a un bebé, la primera vez que oí esta canción a través de su video musical, me dejó pensando acerca de eso. Y por supuesta me pareció una tonada pegajosa, un sonido agresivo combinado con la tonada de una canción de cuna, eso sí era algo innovador.

This song always caught my attention because of its song that pretends to be like a lullaby to a baby, the first time I heard this song through its music video, it got me thinking about it. And of course I thought it was a catchy tune, an aggressive sound combined with the tune of a lullaby, now that was something innovative.

Con respecto a la ejecución del cover, este se toca con la guitarra afinada en LA como todas las canciones de Korn, se puede tocar con una guitarra 6 cuerdas. La canción es bastante sencilla de tocar, aunque hay que estar muy pendientes de la entrada de cada riffs, pues como entran de golpe, a veces es necesario buscar puntos de referencia con la voz.

Regarding the execution of the cover, this is played with the guitar tuned in LA like all Korn songs, it can be played with a 6-string guitar. The song is quite easy to play, although you have to be very attentive to the entrance of each riffs, because as they enter all at once, sometimes it is necessary to look for reference points with the voice.
