Music brought us all together in the City
Yes, I am finally late to #ttt by a few hours and God knows I am not doing this on purpose. I did really want to put an entry in because I am enjoying writing for three tunes Tuesday. But yesterday, I had a lot on my plate, and by the time I was done with my 3speaks video, I didn't know how I ended up dozing off till now.

Yesterday, I woke up bored. I did not why I was bored but I knew I dreaded how the entire day was going to go. Little did I know that the universe had other plans for me. I waltz into the city of Neoxian on Discord and my day took a completely different turn. It was a joke, to make my friends in the City smile a bit but I ended up with smiles all over my face and I disturbed my neighbors a great deal because of the excitement on my voice as I interacted with everyone on voice.
We had a City Music Event, yes, you heard that right, it started somewhere around 8 am if I'm not mistaken, and before we knew it, we held our grounds, taking turns to sing, and have fun till late into the afternoon.
It was a massive event, I did not think it could get that far. But it did. And by the time we were done, everyone agreed we will be doing it again. Every Tuesday! Yes, you heard me, you can stop by, and have fun with us if you love music, you do not have to sing, just listen and I promise you it will be fun.
By the time the event was over, I knew I had a ton of songs to share for three tunes but I did also know I'll have to pick three out of all the beautiful songs that were sung.
@jessicaossom stole my heart when she sang, Scars to Your Beautiful by Alessia Cara in my honor. I realize I was beautiful no matter how many scars I have and all of those things I thought were not beautiful in my teenage age turned out to be my strength when I waltz into adulthood.
Our investor, @burlarj gave us a beautiful rendition in Hindi, and @pravesh0 was so impressed and moved that he tipped us all pizza in the city. It was so cool. Once I searched I realized it was an iconic song from the movie, Dosti about friendship. This was relatable in the sense that we've all had friendships that might have taken a different turn as a result of things out of our control but the feeling in our hearts never change.
And @merit.ahama gave us a trip to the world of Korea when she sang Stand By Me by SHINee gotten from the Korean movie Boys over flowers. Everyone in the city loved how she tongue-twisted the lyrics making it sound like she really was a Korean... Lol. She was really good. But I was hoping the bot could choose me so I'll sing Because I miss you or most importantly, I'll Forget You derived from Heartstrings.
We had other fun songs the citizens presented and they all had an amazing voice. I picked the ones that gave the citizens a pause in their hearts as each presenter ministered to our lives.
Believe me, it was fun, I am still smiling at everything that happened. And @lebey1 was so fun to get to know because he literally poured his heart into every compliment, joke, and even the song he presented. He was even the first person to sing a song till the end without interruption and that move birthed more singing and full music rendition.
I don't even want to talk about @olujay, he reminded me why I almost left my crush and the love of my life for him the first time I watched him sing on 3speak. Yesterday, he blew all our minds out and we had dreamy feelings because his voice is a miracle....hehe
We did have a funny breakout, @nhaji01 gave us the laugh of our lives when it was her turn to sing for Merit and she ended up with an internet song that made us burst into laughter even after the events. As I type this paragraph, I am laughing as hard as I can....haha
Most importantly, @quduus1 encouraged us at the beginning to sing when the air felt weird and he was the one cracking all the jokes about everyone's songs which added to the laughs and excitement. @moremoney28 did act his name because he spread the money around, motivating everyone to sing while he spent the money... Hehehehe.
@treasuree encouraged her sisters to sing and suggested good songs, it was one of those moments, @glorydee blessed us with her angelic voice. Of course, there was a beautiful girl with a beautiful voice, our bride to be, her discord username is esthery if I am not mistaken. She came right in the middle of event and was excited to be a part of everything.
@b0s and @vickoly couldn't join us on voice because they both had school affairs at the moment. But b0s did brag he could have sang better than all of us... I guess we'll have to wait and find out soon. Vickoly almost had someone to sing for him but Foxy spoilt the affair. Vickoly literally had to get a divorce right after buying a ring in advance... Hahaha 😂
We had a special guest of honor, with the discord name, Simcard ~~ White Hat and Hive username, @akomoajong, he encouraged us with more prizes on the table to sing our hearts out.
I may not be able to mention everyone who participated but if you are reading this, know that you are loved and appreciated. ❣️
I am looking forward to next week Tuesday and I have a good feeling it will be more amazing. And you know the best part? As long as we have the music events, I won't be running out of picks for #ttt which is a win-win situation if you ask me.
What started as a joke to make @nkemakonam89 sing for us turned out to be an event we will all be looking forward to every week. It's amazing if you ask me. Thank you Nkem, for inspiring this. You are a legend in my heart and a queen too. 😉
That's it for today, hold me by my words, I would have said everything that happened yesterday, but, it's the fear of God that's making me cut this post into half, haha, and I appreciate @ablaze for setting up this initiative as every week, I find a good reason to be a part of it.

A memorable day for many of us, indeed, Iska. I didn't even know what was happening in the city, but I saw your announcement that Nkem was to sing, so I went to wait for her on voice channel, and, voila, everyone started trooping in unexpectedly.
