El cuatro venezolano, inspiración para un músico. @ipizzani

Hola amigos de hive y de la comunidad de @Music, es primera vez que escribo por esta comunidad, pero quería compartir con ustedes la experiencia y la pasión por la música, pero en esta oportunidad sobre el cuatro venezolano.

Mis inicios en la música comenzaron cuando era niño, sobre todo porque mi familia paterna siempre ha participado en grupos musicales como lo es “El tamunangue” y mi abuelo materno Rafael Pacheco, quien tenía conocimientos varios sobre le cuatro, me fue enseñando pacientemente pocas cosas sobre este instrumento tan valioso, una de las cosas o canciones que me enseño fue “compadre Pancho”. Con esta canción comenzó mi inquietud musical. Es por esto que a la edad de 10 años mis padres deciden inscribirme en una academia musical llamada “cuatros y más cuatros” aquí en la ciudad de Barquisimeto, todo esto porque mi curiosidad musical fue creciendo. Y es que este bello instrumentos musical es una de las bases fundamentales en nuestra música folclórica venezolana, por su peculiar afinación produce sonido increíbles y es que escuchar la música venezolana y sobre todo en nuestra región de los llanos, es de mucha alegría, te llena de energía y vida.

El cuatro como instrumento, es una inspiración para cualquier músico, por lo tanto es necesario conocer sus técnicas, sus ritmos y el saber ejecutarlo... Es por este motivo que les dejo por aquí este enlace de este video para que lo puedan disfrutar, al igual que yo lo hago cada vez que tengo la oportunidad de verlo y escucharlo. Aquí vemos como este instrumento tan versátil nos permite ejecutar distinto tipos de música, adaptados a los ritmos autóctonos. Este video me llama la atención, porque en él podemos disfrutar de la combinación de diferentes estilos musicales y la manera como este interprete domina distintos ritmos que van desde pieza clásicas a piezas tradicionales.

El intérprete de este video es Jorge Glem uno de los más grandes tesoros musicales de Venezuela, cuatrista, mandonilista, compositor y productor nacional, su increíble talento en la música, en especial en este instrumento musical, hace que uno como músico se interese y se enamore más por este arte que es la música venezolana. Escuchar y ver su talento me inspira a seguir formándome como músico y como persona, saber que tener pasión por lo que haces es de suma importancia sin rendirse en la vida, porque a través de tu talento, puedes llegar muy lejos.

Al ingresar en el conservatorio de música “Vicente Emilio Sojo” pude estudiar dos semestres sobre este instrumento y ahí aprendí nuevas técnicas y distintas ritmos que me ayudaron a conocer más a profundidad este hermoso instrumento, que ha dejado a nuestro país en alto y ha sido el instrumento principal de grandes músicos talentosos venezolanos. Aunque en la actualidad mi pasión y mi instrumento principal es la guitarra cada vez que tengo la oportunidad de tocar el cuatro venezolano, disfruto y aprendo cada día más de él, me regresa a la raíces que hicieron que me enamorara de la música y me hace recordar distintas tradiciones familiares que me encaminaron a amar este arte.

Hello friends of hive and the Music community, it is the first time I write for this community, but I wanted to share with you the experience and passion for music, but this time about the Venezuelan cuatro.

My beginnings in music started when I was a child, especially because my paternal family has always participated in musical groups such as "El tamunangue" and my maternal grandfather Rafael Pacheco, who had several knowledge about the cuatro, was patiently teaching me a few things about this valuable instrument, one of the things or songs he taught me was "compadre Pancho". With this song began my musical restlessness. That is why at the age of 10 my parents decided to enroll me in a musical academy called "cuatros y más cuatros" here in the city of Barquisimeto, all this because my musical curiosity was growing. And this beautiful musical instrument is one of the fundamental bases in our Venezuelan folk music, for its peculiar tuning produces incredible sound and listening to Venezuelan music and especially in our region of the plains, is of great joy, it fills you with energy and life.

The cuatro as an instrument is an inspiration for any musician, therefore it is necessary to know its techniques, its rhythms and to know how to play it... Here we see how this versatile instrument allows us to play different types of music, adapted to local rhythms. This video catches my attention, because in it we can enjoy the combination of different musical styles and the way this interpreter masters different rhythms ranging from classical to traditional pieces.

The interpreter of this video is Jorge Glem one of the greatest musical treasures of Venezuela, cuatrista, mandonilista, composer and national producer, his incredible talent in music, especially in this musical instrument, makes one as a musician becomes more interested and fall in love with this art that is Venezuelan music. Listening to and seeing his talent inspires me to continue training as a musician and as a person, knowing that having passion for what you do is of utmost importance without giving up in life, because through your talent, you can go very far.

When I entered the music conservatory "Vicente Emilio Sojo" I was able to study two semesters on this instrument and there I learned new techniques and different rhythms that helped me to know more in depth this beautiful instrument, which has left our country high and has been the main instrument of great talented Venezuelan musicians. Although currently my passion and my main instrument is the guitar, every time I have the opportunity to play the Venezuelan cuatro, I enjoy and learn more about it every day, it brings me back to the roots that made me fall in love with music and makes me remember different family traditions that led me to love this art.
