Smartphone, A replacement of devices

We are living in a digital world and digital world and technological development is very impressive, especially in the last few decades The development of technology is much better compared to past times. The invention of smartphones was a revolutionary one and most of the development was done in recent times as well as in the last 2 decades.

I believe that in the current time thinking about life without a smartphone is just a dream because that kind of thought doesn't come to our mind let alone facing that kind of situation. Moreover, we became highly dependent on smartphones and we can't deny the truth. A single smartphone has replaced many things as well as devices in our life. And that is the reason it's nearly impossible to think of life without smartphones.

In the past television was the only media to watch movies and dramas which we used to see as an entertainment purpose. But after the smartphone arrived most people are getting used to watching dramas and movies on their smartphones. It's not like television fully replaced by smartphones but I can say it mostly replaced television. Very few people watch television in recent days to watch movies and dramas and other programs of shows. Smartphones allow us to see those things anywhere which is an extra facility and that faculties are not available in Television. So it's quite natural that people are getting attracted by mobile phones for better faculties.

Let's talk about music. Music is also a thing for recreational purposes. For some people, it's more than that, and for some people music is life. In the past, there were various kinds of players for music and those player sizes were huge and so portability was not available. But later mini radio and mp3-type players were invented which gave the portability option but the smartphone's features are very user-friendly. Besides, for various reasons, we need to use smartphones and it's totally pointless to carry an extra device for listening to music when it can be used from smartphones.

In the past times, Torchlight was one of the popular things especially when the electricity supply was not enough and load shedding used to occur because of it. In recent times very few people are using torch light 🔦 . It's because people think that buying a torch light is a waste of money because the flashlight option exists in each smartphone. There is no necessity to waste money by buying a torch light. I can barely see people using torch lights.

In the case of buying a smartphone camera is a priority of maximum users. In the past times, people used to buy cameras to capture photographs. Honestly, in the past times very few people were able to buy a camera and the lens price was also expensive. Everyone is not capable of buying a camera but almost everyone is capable of buying a smartphone and it is enough to fulfill the desire of a camera. Besides the cameras of some smartphones are so good that some people prefer smartphones more than cameras thinking about portability facility also. Currently, the camera is not fully replaced by smartphones because smartphones have some limitations in the case of the camera. Indeed smartphones didn't replace cameras fully but we have to accept that they moderately replaced cameras.

Did you notice when you ask time to someone, they pick up their mobile in hand and see the time, and then say the time? Sometimes funny incident happens like a person wearing a hand watch and when someone asks him the time, he picks up his mobile and says the time 🤣. Indeed it's funny and happens to many of us but it's the reality because we are already used to it. Most of us use hand watches for style in the current time. Another thing which is totally disappeared is the alarm clock and the smartphone totally replaced the alarm clock. So alarm clock is nothing more than an antique piece in the current time.

So in the end smartphone is a device which is replecd many devices and some people think that in the future it has the possibility to replace the computer. I believe that in the future it has a good possibility and I won't be surprised if that kind of thing happens.
