First up we have: Godzilla by Blue Oyster Cult.
This is the #1 track and single off the 5th studio album Spectres, released in 1977. This tune brings back some memories lol. Who knew that a corny monster movie would generate a kick ass song such as this? 😂 I am here for it though.. just sayin!

Next up we have Frankenstein by The Edgar Winter Group
This is Track #10 from the They Only Come Out At Night album. I love this instrumental.. it is the 70's in a nutshell lmao. Everyone getting blasted and enjoying the ride.. getting lost in the music.. that was the task of the day back then. 😄

Next up we got the final selection.. Highway Star by Deep Purple
This is the #1 track off the Machine Head album, released in 1972. I've had the pleasure of hearing this live when I saw them back in 1985 on the Monsters of Rock Tour in Europe. Deep Purple really killed it on their set, and also heard Smoke on the Water and a bunch of other tunes too.. it was awesome.
There is a boatload of cool tunes from the 70's, and I could go on adding more songs that kick ass.. but we're sticking with the three. 😄

Loving the guitar riffs in Godzilla, quality stuff, seems familiar to me, but not sure how, as I don't properly know the song, maybe a movie or a one time listen somehow many moons ago... Either way I like it..
