Hello Brothers and sisters, welcome back to our blog. We are a Punk Rock band from Medan, Indonesia. It's great to be back participating in the Hive Open Mic Event, with the theme "Cacao", chosen by the week 170 highlight artist, @cabelindsay. For this week, my guitarist and I played an original song entitled "Aku, Kamu, dan Secangkir Coklat". In English, it means "Me, You, and a cup of cocoa".

For me, this theme is quite difficult. Because I don't know what song I want to cover on this theme. Even, writing a song on this theme is also not easy for me. Finally, I went and sat in a park. In the park, I saw someone sitting alone with a slightly sad face. I want to ask, but I do not dare. In the end, I assumed that the person was just feeling deprived. Maybe lose a loved one. When someone loses a loved one, there is a feeling of longing that comes later.

From that assumption, I got the inspiration to write a song. However, writing melancholy songs is quite difficult for me. I also imagined the life of someone who misses an important figure in his life, but what he misses is gone. And a cup of hot cocoa brings back memories of their time together. From the imagination that I imagined on the park bench, I started writing the lyrics of the song. Below are the lyrics and translation.

But, the truth is that loved ones have left this world. Even though his body was gone, his soul was still by his side. The fond memories of that person and the moments shared over a cup of hot cocoa will never be forgotten, even though it's been so long. This song tells about the longing for the presence of someone who has passed away, their sweet smile, and the warmth they once shared.

In this song, a cup of hot cocoa becomes a symbol of bonding with those who have left. Even if they are no longer together, hot chocolate and all the memories associated with it still play an important role in that person's life. This song shows how strong the influence of loved ones is and the warmth they once felt together. This song invites listeners to reflect on the power of memories and loved ones to live on in our hearts and minds, even though our loved ones are gone.
