Groovy music

I'm listening to some groovy music

and it seems

too mundane to do what I was going to do

look at emails
decide what to delete

this is music for love

and poetry

and since Stina is at the doctor

and Lochlan is at school

all I'm left with is poetry

That's not true, of course. There's lots of love in cleaning up my email inbox

or other things I could be doing right now

Brainstorming ways to help the world

but by far the closest to hand is

I miss

sitting in cafes and being with artsy fartsy folks who are quite sincere. But all we want to do is write together right now

And now it feels like we can only

oh I dunno

We have obligations

The dog wants to come in
