Hi my African tunes lover, it’s been a while since I posted here. For this week am redoing a song i did before since it’s one of the suggested songs on the list. You are Yahweh by Steve Crown a song one of the elders at my church loves. I am one of the worship leaders at a church, I congregate. Each time am leading worship at prayer meetings one of the elders usually asks me if a can sing you are Yahweh. He really love this song and I love it too. God will forever be God come what may he is at the center of everything. The song means a lot of things to me, God is sovereign, omnipresent and all knowing. He knows the beginning and the end of everything we know and see. When am going through tough situations this song is an encouragement to me, I know he is still Yahweh.
The Jews fear to mention this word Yahweh because of the reverence the have for their God. YHWH is the original word which they replace with Adonai because it’s a sacred word for them. I love to sing this song in my local language, and I have add the Bemba part to it. It’s a powerful song that leads me in the presence of God, were I get to reflect on many things he has done for me. Since my childhood and now as an adult I continue seeing his goodness, he has not stopped to be good to me.

Hola, mi amante de las melodías africanas, ha pasado un tiempo desde que publiqué aquí. Para esta semana estoy rehaciendo una canción que hice antes, ya que es una de las canciones sugeridas en la lista. You are Yahweh de Steve Crown, una canción que uno de los ancianos de mi iglesia ama. Soy uno de los líderes de adoración en una iglesia, me congrego. Cada vez que estoy dirigiendo la adoración en las reuniones de oración, uno de los ancianos generalmente me pregunta si puede cantar que eres Yahvé. A él le encanta esta canción y a mí también. Dios siempre será Dios venga lo que sea que esté en el centro de todo. La canción significa muchas cosas para mí, Dios es soberano, omnipresente y omnipresente. Él conoce el principio y el final de todo lo que sabemos y vemos. Cuando estoy pasando por situaciones difíciles, esta canción es un estímulo para mí, sé que él sigue siendo Yahvé.

Los judíos temen mencionar esta palabra Yahvé por la reverencia que tienen por su Dios. YHWH es la palabra original que reemplazan por Adonai porque es una palabra sagrada para ellos. Me encanta cantar esta canción en mi idioma local, y le he añadido la parte de Bemba. Es una canción poderosa que me lleva a la presencia de Dios, donde llego a reflexionar sobre muchas cosas que ha hecho por mí. Desde mi infancia y ahora como adulto sigo viendo su bondad, no ha dejado de ser bueno conmigo.
