This love is for Life

Have you ever gone to a wedding and tear up amidst the couple saying their vows? If you have we should be buddies and newsflash you aren’t weird you’re just a sweet soul.

I went to my friend’s wedding today and I just couldn’t contain my emotions. It just felt like my emotions were all over the place.
Hearing and seeing my friend being addressed by her husband’s name and not her father’s name which I have known all my life did hit differently. It didn’t just end there. While watching those two say their vows in front of people that mattered to them was just amazing.

One of the things that stirred up the atmosphere was the music. Thumbs up to the DJ he did a fantastic job by playing so many beautiful songs.

So many beautiful songs were played and I took a mental note of them.
The one song that struck a chord in me was For Life by Moses Bliss.
For Life is a love song by the gospel artist Moses Bliss, he wrote this song for his wife when she was still his finance and he performed it on their wedding day too. The song went viral in my country and so did his proposal of course we just couldn’t get enough of the song.

For Life isn’t just any love song but a Christian song with a strong message. It’s a song that professes one’s underlying love, and commitment to do forever with each other no matter the circumstances.
This song just sort of makes you feel a certain way while listening to it because it’s a beautiful song.

Hearing my friend’s husband sing this song to my beloved friend today made me so emotional. While watching him sing and seeing my friend tearing up I couldn’t help but remember all her previous relationships, how each of these relationships broke her heart into tiny pieces. I remembered all those nights she’d cry and rant over how she was treated unjustly in her relationship but today my friend found love and she’s about to do forever with the love of her life! Talk about perfect timing!

If there’s one thing I learnt today that would be knowing that there’s a right person for everyone it’s only a matter of time before you find them.

Moses Bliss didn’t mince words when he said;

At the right time, you will find just the right person that you would decide to love For Life😃

For Life inspired me to never lose faith in love and that love is a beautiful thing, especially with the right person.
While a lot of people give up on love even without trying, the message is not to give up, but to keep hope alive till you find your own person, that you will love and will love you For Life.
