When EDM Meets Emotion 🎧✨ | Vibes Web3 Music Competition Week35 Review
I just got to realize by virtue of this weeks theme that some of my favourite songs are actually EDM. I love me the likes of Something Just Like this by coldplay, hymn for the weekends and even my very dearest waiting for love by Avicii. But something struck me too when listening to an entry by @vocal.journey1. I also got to realise that all the EDMs somehow sound alike. Full of energy, vibe and personally I'd say they make good soundtracks for video games.
So what caught my attention today is the entry of @vocal.journey1 where she made a cover of Happier By Marshmello.
She made a great cover of the song with perfect energy and emotion. I love that she presented the song in her own terms whime maintaining the core of the track with her melodous voice. I appreciate how her voice glides perfectly fine over the elctronic beat. I admire her dancing to the beat around the chorus 😊 and overall, I love the originality in her presentation. I could connect very well with her cover as it isn't different from any other electronic music I've listened to previously. I would rate her presentation a 9.4/10 . I think everyone should listen to this her cover and discover/ enjoy something spectacular.

Yeah I did. Mostly the chorus part where you were moving your body. You know, some people might just have been stiff while performing an EDM which normally creates space for dance. I love that you were vibing to the beat even while sitting
