New installation in Soave (Verona)

Hello friends of this wonderful community I want to share with you some photos I took yesterday in Soave, in the province of Verona. As you know, I am originally from that place and I visit there occasionally because my parents live there. Just yesterday, to my great surprise, I discovered that a part of the stage sets from the opera "Il Trovatore," created by the great maestro Franco Zeffirelli, has been set up near the ancient walls of this beautiful village. I have mentioned it in the past, and moreover, last year it was awarded the title of "village of villages."
Unfortunately, the photo doesn't really capture the size of this fighter, but it's truly impressive in person.

I am excited to be able to share these photos with you because they represent a perfect combination of the beauty of Soave and the art of opera. The stage sets of the two warriors fit harmoniously into the historical context of the village, creating a magical and evocative atmosphere. It is incredible how art can transform and enrich a place, giving unique emotions to those who have the privilege of admiring it.

From what I understand, this setup was done not only to pay homage to the great maestro Franco Zeffirelli, who I believe is one of the most talented set designers and directors worldwide, but also because this year marks the Centenary of the Opera Festival at the Arena di Verona. Therefore, I understand that Soave, like other municipalities in this area, will also organize concerts after the performances, not only for the local population but also for the numerous tourists who come here.

Moreover, the opera season at the Arena is undoubtedly a prestigious internationally renowned stage that provides significant economic benefits not only for Verona but also for Italy as a whole. Just think that most accommodations in the center of Verona have been booked months in advance by those who wish to attend this festival. It is an experience that I highly recommend and that I have had the privilege of experiencing multiple times. The atmosphere inside the Arena di Verona is always extraordinary and represents a unique way to animate and enhance a place of undeniable historical importance.

By the way, the preview of this opera festival will be the opera "Aida," which will be broadcast live worldwide next Friday, a true global event. Undoubtedly, this opportunity will help promote our country on an international scale.
