VIBES WEB3 MUSIC COMPETITION WK 22: BELIEVE IN ME COVER

Hello everyone, it’s another week of the vibes web3 music competition and for this week’s theme, I presented a song titled ”BELIEVE IN ME”. The song was sang by Dan Fogelberg who is a songwriter and also a multi instrumentalist.

When I saw that we had a theme for this week, it piqued my interest because it was a theme of songs from the 70s and I always find those songs really cool and soothing to listen to. I knew quite some old songs but I just couldn’t remember them so I decided to use this opportunity to learn a new song.

This song has a really cool vibe and it is a simple going song that I believe anyone can vibe with. When I first heard it, I knew it was the song I wanted to sing and I immediately started listening to it often to get the flow and also let the lyrics stick.

“Believe in me” is a song that dwells on the reality of most relationships we have today. In his song, Dan describes the process it takes for someone who has once been heartbroken, find it hard to trust someone again. How they find it hard to even trust what they feel and how patient he is willing to wait until the one he loves will learn to believe in him.

I do hope you enjoy this cover, because I’m not sure if anyone would have heard this song before but it will be nice to know someone already knows it, hehe.

It's definitely difficult to trust again after it had been broken.
The deep low tone you started with sounded really lovely.
I think this 70s theme is the best theme so far, you cover makes me feel that way.
