VIBES WEB3 MUSIC COMPETITION WEEK 15 - BEAUTIFUL THINGS COVER
Hello everyone ❤️, it’s another beautiful week for vibes web3 music competition week 15 and I’m super happy to be part of those making an entry this week and I’m hoping you all enjoy the little I have prepared this week.
This week was quite challenging for me even though I never expected to be since I had more time than usual. For the fact that I don’t live alone and in a quiet environment, it has taken a toll on me in ways that I just have to learn to deal with it. As they say, if life gives you lemons use it to make lemonades, hehe.
Anyways, despite all the setbacks and all, I made an entry and that means so much to me because at some point I was thinking this was going to be the week when I miss vibes for the first time, but I’m glad it wasn’t, because I hope do even wish for that week to come, lol. So without further ado, let’s dive in quickly to what I have for us.
For my song choice, I have been listening to Beautiful things by Benson Bonne a lot lately that even my roommate asked me if I planned presenting this song. Well, at that point when she asked me I wasn’t sure because I felt like this song was not a song I want to sing and not sing it well. It took me over a week to finally agree with myself to sing this song so here is what I made!
While trying to make my video cover, I kept getting interruptions from my neighbors, vehicles passing by and even from my roommate. It was a bit frustrating but there was nothing I could do but just think of a way out. After much deliberation, I finally decided to do an audio cover instead and I’m quite satisfied at how well it turned out and I do hope you still get to enjoy it as much as you would enjoy my video cover.
“Beautiful Things” is a really nice song that I believe a lot of us if not all of us can relate with. It’s a song that talks about the fear we have when we think of losing the beautiful things and people around us. You know, things come and go but then it’s really sad when they go than when they come and the thought of losing what we have especially those priceless things was what prompted these lyrics in Benson’s head and it is totally what I can relate with at different levels.
I made an audio cover with the lyrics attached to it so I do hope you enjoy listening to it. A lot of things to improve on but it is quite decent for your ears, haha. Go listen to it and drop all your amazing comments and of course your constructive criticism and I hope to keep getting it right.

I was so out of it and tired yesterday, I couldn't think clearly.
Yeah just for this week, we will accept it this once, but please next time always visual covers showing yourself singing live, because as you can imagine, if we didn’t already know your nice kindhearted genuine character and your distinct voice/singing style, and we allowed others to also do audio covers, how problematic that would be in regards to cheaters, spammers, and upvote/curation/reward farmers.
With that being said, I know you will continuento do great things in this community and within this competition. You have a sweet and comforting sound that you know how to control softly and with power. This was a great cover song choice and I enjoyed the melodies and lyrics. You often give such strong performances and I am glad you've been able to enter every week so far.
Also, sometimes we have to push through the obstacles during the recording process. That is normal, but don't give up to the frustrations, your consistency will only help you to continue to grow with tenacity and determination.
Hahaha, I’m glad you finally understand my question, hehe. Well, that makes a lot of sense thinking about it and I’m glad you could recognize it’s my voice at the background, I’d do better to overcome the frustration next time.
