IT'S TTT TIME TO LISTEN TO SOME TUNES
It's been a while since I last shared some tunes to participate in the #ttt but today that has to change because you are reading my entry for the #threetunestuesday initiated by @ablaze. Today I'd be sharing some tunes that I've listened to recently that I enjoyed. They are more than three so I'd just be sharing the three Africa songs from it and maybe next time I'd share the others with you as well.
QING MADI, BNXN - OLE
This song was released few months ago and I only got to know of it last month. From the day I heard the song I just liked it not because of the lyrics though but I must appreciate the harmony of the song, it was unique and sweet to listen to and that just made me like the song. I was actually thinking of making a cover of the song but since I don't want to steal someone's bae, hehe I don't think I will put in any effort to learn how to sing it but let's see how it goes 😆.
When I saw the video of the song if there was one thing I enjoyed about it, it was the choreography and also the little drama to portray what the song was about. This song was the first time I got to know that there is another beautiful Africa singer like Madi, her swag and style is something that I like about her, she is someone you can't take your eyes off while watching her videos because she is really entertaining.
ASAKE & H.E.R - LONELY AT THE TOP
If I'd be honest, I did enjoyed the original song to the remix done by these two persons but then I was impressed with what H.E.R did with her solo, it was beautiful and daring as well. But then I do feel it was a little too much for the genre of song lonely at the top belong to. Despite all of that I still think it got a pass mark because it got my attention.
The major reason why I didn't enjoyed it might be due to the fact that I had high expectations when I saw that there was a remix for the song. Asake is a really good singer I must say because his kind of songs are just so original and unique. At first I didn't like his other songs because I was not so comfortable with those kind of singers but then he made me a fan with this song.
DAVIDO - FEEL
There is a spoiler alert for this song and that is the video coverage, I kinda expected some simple and straight forward but David took it to another level, hehe. Sometimes I just don't bother watching the official videos of songs that I like because it might make me not like them again, lol. Well, in this case, I still like the song but I will have recommended an audio but I just wanted to share the official video.
I'd give the little drama in the video a 6/10 because it still entertained me anyways but the intro was quite long and that might make someone tired of watching the video. Davido is a seasoned singer because most of his songs are given! I particularly like feel because of the energy and the choreography too. I like watching song videos that has a good choreography and FEEL is one of those songs.
