HOW WELL DO YOU PAY ATTENTION? (ENG-ESP)

The love of a mother is one that still surprises me but I know it's real. Parents in general have great love for their children but that of a mother is almost incomparable even though their are some fathers that are doing so well in that regards but then, I think the fact that mothers are the ones that mostly spend more time with their children has made the love they have more greater than that of a father to their child. Mothers have better chances of getting closer to their children thereby helping them understand them better than their fathers.

Today while I was coming back home from a church fellowship, I was privileged to meet a couple (I do know them) who were kind enough to give me a ride home. They have a baby girl who was asleep and since others will also be joining them in their car, they pleaded with me to assist them in carrying their daughter so the car will have enough space for everyone. The ride was quite a long one because we had to get petrol from the filling station. When we got there, there was a long queue and while waiting, their little girl woke up.

When she woke up, she heard her mother's voice because she was singing. She sat at the front seat while the rest of us including Sammy were sitting at the back seat. A man who joined the vehicle was operating his phone and the light from the screen immediately stole Sammy's attention from her mother's voice. Her mother tried getting her attention but she was so glued to screen and her mother already knew Sammy will not pay attention to her anymore as long as the phone was giving that light.

Sammy has some challenges as a baby and her mother has paid so much attention to every little detail and I just wonder how she managed to do that. While we were on the road, their friend who was in the vehicle was trying to get some information about Sammy's well being and her mother successfully explained every detail to him. She gave full explanation of everything that Sammy does and how well she is getting better. I was new to the story but after listening to her, I felt like I have been equipped so well about little Sammy.

As a mother, it's a responsibility for us to pay close attention to every little details of our child or children. Knowing your child better than any one else is an added advantage to you because you don't need your child to tell you every single thing first before knowing something is wrong with them. Most children are confused of so many things they are experiencing and as a mother if you can't help that child know what's wrong, it might be hard for the child to speak up when the finally get to find out what was wrong. This is also applicable to the fathers but mostly to the mothers.

Parents try as much as you can to pay good attention to your children because they may never let you in on what's going on with them. Sammy's mother was just so attentive to her and at some point she started singing lullabies for her just to put a smile on her face. I was inspired to write this because of my encounter with them and I have learned something and I decided to also share with all my beautiful mothers here on hive as well so you can also learn a thing or two.

El amor de una madre es uno que todavía me sorprende pero sé que es real. Los padres en general tienen un gran amor por sus hijos, pero el de una madre es casi incomparable a pesar de que hay algunos padres que lo están haciendo muy bien en ese aspecto, pero bueno, creo que el hecho de que las madres son las que en su mayoría pasan más tiempo con sus hijos ha hecho que el amor que tienen sea más grande que el de un padre a su hijo. Las madres tienen mejores oportunidades de acercarse a sus hijos y así ayudarlos a comprenderlos mejor que sus padres.

Hoy, mientras regresaba a casa de una beca de la iglesia, tuve el privilegio de conocer a una pareja (los conozco) que tuvieron la amabilidad de llevarme a casa. Tienen una niña que estaba dormida y como otros también se unirán a ellos en su automóvil, me suplicaron que los ayudara a cargar a su hija para que el automóvil tuviera suficiente espacio para todos. El viaje fue bastante largo porque tuvimos que comprar gasolina en la estación de servicio. Cuando llegamos, había una larga cola y mientras esperaban, su pequeña se despertó.

Cuando se despertó, escuchó la voz de su madre porque estaba cantando. Ella se sentó en el asiento delantero mientras que el resto de nosotros, incluido Sammy, estábamos sentados en el asiento trasero. Un hombre que se unió al vehículo estaba operando su teléfono desde él y la luz de la pantalla de inmediato robó la atención de Sammy de la voz de su madre. Su madre de ella trató de llamar su atención, pero estaba tan pegada a la pantalla y su madre de ella ya sabía que Sammy ya no le prestaría atención mientras el teléfono diera esa luz.

Sammy tiene algunos desafíos cuando era bebé y su madre ha prestado mucha atención a cada pequeño detalle y me pregunto cómo se las arregló para hacer eso. Mientras estábamos en el camino, su amigo que estaba en el vehículo estaba tratando de obtener información sobre el bienestar de Sammy y su madre le explicó con éxito todos los detalles. Dio una explicación completa de todo lo que hace Sammy y lo bien que está mejorando. Era nuevo en la historia, pero después de escucharla, sentí que me habían equipado muy bien con el pequeño Sammy.

Como madre, es una responsabilidad para nosotros prestar mucha atención a cada pequeño detalle de nuestro hijo o hijos. Conocer a su hijo mejor que nadie es una ventaja adicional para usted porque no necesita que su hijo le cuente todo antes de saber que algo anda mal con él. La mayoría de los niños están confundidos por tantas cosas que están experimentando y, como madre, si no puede ayudar a ese niño a saber qué está mal, puede ser difícil para el niño hablar cuando finalmente descubra qué estaba mal. Esto también es aplicable a los padres, pero sobre todo a las madres.

Los padres hacen todo lo posible por prestar buena atención a sus hijos porque es posible que nunca les digan lo que les sucede. La madre de Sammy estaba tan atenta con ella que en algún momento comenzó a cantarle canciones de cuna solo para ponerle una sonrisa en la cara. Me inspiré para escribir esto debido a mi encuentro con ellos y aprendí algo y decidí compartir también con todas mis hermosas madres aquí en Hive para que también puedan aprender una o dos cosas.
