A SONG THAT INSPIRES ME - DREEM WOTW

It's thrilling to know that there is something that heals the soul so quickly than anything anyone can even imagine. Music! I love anything music especially when it's on point! All my life if there is something that I have loved consistently it would be music!. For me, I always say music is life because it touches differently.

I got to love music more when I found out that the only thing that moves God was praises. The best way I enjoy praising God is through singing and that has made me love music a lot. I can't even begin to imagine the number of songs I've listened to. But despite the fact that I've listened to so many songs, there are quite some few that always stands out for me whenever I listened to them or I sing them.

I'm really so happy I know how to sing and I also enjoy it. Big shout out to my family, most people refer to us as musicians because we never miss any opportunity to sing. Music is already a part of my life that I don't even know when I start singing sometimes. I'm very quick to learn the melodies of songs and that has made me very conscious of the kind of songs I listen to.

So moving forward to the song that inspires me and why...

LIVING HOPE - PHIL WICKHAM

Did you listen to that song? I'm very sure you must I've heard it before but it's fine if this is your first time too. Well, that's one of my favorite songs that I love so much as at today and even in time to come because those words can never change, hehe. I remember the first time I listened to the song, it was actually a cover by one of my favorite Acapella groups called PRAISE AND HARMONY. They are one beautiful singing group that I admire so much because of the passion they put into any song they cover.

PRAISE AND HARMONY - LIVING HOPE ACAPELLA COVER

Here's their cover for the song. I got to love this song because of them and after then I began seeing so many covers of the song that I didn't even know who the original singer was until today. Phil did justice to the song and it was the lyrics for me. Those words can Pierce through anything because they are true words.

The song was written based on the death of Christ and how he resurrected. If Christ hadn't risen it would have been impossible for anyone to believe in him but then he defeated death and become victorious and thanks to the sacrifice he made for us on the cross, we can be set free and we are set free. Oh praise the Lord I've been set free because he has broken every chain and there is salvation in his name!

This song speaks everything about how we have been able to get salvation through Jesus Christ. Despite our sins he loved us and all he ever wanted was to reconcile us back to the father so we can be saved and not be cast away. The song reminds me of my first love (God and the sacrifices he made and the song also gives me a reason to keep telling others of how much we are loved by God even with our disbelief.

It might not be so much to you but it is for me and it's with great pleasure that I share it with you all and I hope it does inspire someone. Thanks to the #dreem-wotw I get to share the song I so love with you.

So do you have a song that inspires you and you love so much? why do you love it? Feel free to share it with me down at the comment section let's discuss 🥰.

You're right, knowing God is a blessing on it's own and praising him is another. He defeated death and now we can face whatever that comes as long as we do his will.

Thank you so much for your beautiful contribution 🥰

You brought a favourite song of mine here. The first time I listened to this song was in my church, though they only sang the chorus but when I got to know the full version, I fell in love with the whole verses. It's an inspirational song indeed and it made me have the full assurance that Jesus Christ is my living hope.

Love Phil Wickham 🤗 and this song is no exception. Raised to life bringing salvation. Very different versions but both are enjoyable in their own right.

I dropped in from Dreemport this evening.
