A GOOD BUY: MY REVIEW OF THE JBL EVEREST ELITES700

It has always been in my plans to want to get headphones. I wasn’t just sure which ones would be best but then, I finally took a leap of faith and got one few days ago. My experience trying to get it was not an encouraging one at all. At some point I felt discouraged because the one I wanted wasn’t working well. It was a pink coloured headset, a JBL brand and just the perfect size for my head size, hehe. The only problem with the headset was the charging port. It wasn’t just working for some reasons I couldn’t figure out.

I actually bought it, too it home and tried charging it since I thought it was because it was too low but then, it kept on going off while charging and at that point, I confirmed that it has a bigger issue that I won’t want to deal with. I quickly wrapped it back and took it to the shop I bought it from and sadly, I forgot to even take a photo of it. Well, I was just happy I didn’t buy it online, I might have had to just accepted things the way they were. Anyways, when I got to the shop, I made my complaint and they asked me to come back the next day to check for it as they promised to help me charge it since I told them it wasn’t charging.

On my way back from school, I checked the shop to ask for update on it but they asked me to come back later. So, later that evening, I strolled to the shop since it wasn’t far from my hostel. When I got there, the lady suggested that I choose another headset because the one I wanted was not good. I was happy she was honest enough because I had already planned to just request for my money back and go somewhere else to look for that same headset. Well, since she was honest enough, I just decided to look for the same JBL product but with a different design and color.

After several options, I finally settled for this particular design called EVEREST ELITES700. I was not sure if I would like it but after asking a friend about it, he said it was nice and indeed, when I tried it, everything was just perfect. It is black colored and it charges for two hours to be fully charged, lasts for 5 hours and it has a very good sound quality. I got it for around $7. It was a good buy I will say because when I got home that day, after charging it I used it to listen to music for close to 2 hours and it was still at 90%. The next morning, I used it for another 3 hours which was the hours it was supposed to last for and it was still at 60%.

Today, I used it for another 2 hours until it finally got low. I’m glad it could go for extra 2 hours and since I won’t be using it too much, I’m very sure it will serve its purpose well. It’s my first time getting an headset and I’m happy it wasn’t a bad buy. Maybe in the future I will buy a good AirPod but for now, I’m just going to enjoy chilling with my new headset.

And yes, I’ll recommend it for those who wish to get one, especially the brand name JBL. Most of their products are really nice and I’m glad I wasn’t disappointed even though my first experience was not the best. I’m just happy there was a way to return it and get a better one.
