TTT - be kind to people, life is tough

Its Three Tune Tuesday again - woot woot - a great weekly community event started by @ablaze !

I started picking the tunes this week based purely on the music. I get so absorbed in the music that I never really take in the meaning on the lyrics. However tonight I found out that the first two tunes I picked were both about people dealing with tough times - so I decided that was the theme for my picks tonight.

First up is a cracker of a tune by the British artist Ginger Wildheart. He is normally a bit of a rocker, so this tune was a bit of a departure for him when it came out in 2018. In short its about helping people going through tough times.

The next tune is from the film Dear Evan Hansen, which I havent seen. I absolutely love this tune and had no idea what the lyrics were about until I saw the video for the first time tonight. I just love the music production behind this tune - its beyond impressive, and clearly the guy can sing ! This came out in 2017. Its about anxiety, an awfully debilitating thing for those that suffer from it.

It took me ages to pick the third tune as I wanted something that would fit in with the other two. I was looking through songs I like and they were 99.99999% about love and then I remembered this brilliant song from Alice Cooper. This came out in 1978, so its a tad older than the other two. But its about his time spent in rehab drying out from alcohol addiction. And for those that dont know, Alice is a bloke !

So that wraps up another three tune tuesday for me - I really enjoyed picking these one's. Remember to be nice - you never know what someone is going through !

Alice is pretty awesome. I never really appreciated him before, but then I got to see him in concert a couple of years ago with a friend. I went along because my friend didn't want to go alone, but I ended up enjoying myself. It was a great show.

I've never seen one of his shows live, but I understand that he really knows how to put a show on ! That must have been pretty cool !

Yeah, it was more like a theater experience honestly. He did a fantastic job despite his age!

I really liked this trio of tunes, and that second one about the guy with anxiety was a great way of telling the story of anxiety to people who maybe don't understand it.

I don't really know much about Alice Cooper tbh, but this song was a good listen.
