RE: Things Worth Doing

Oh I love that, that's such an apt description for Pink Floyd! Room to breathe. It makes me miss my record player, but I'll be back home in a couple of days and I foresee some Pink Floyd. To breathe ;)

Why play a note today, when you can play one tomorrow?

I need this kind of attitude. Too much doing. It's not good for anybody.

I love Time too. That's the brilliant thing about it, it takes time.

I am sad that I am younger than most people who really do appreciate the work that Walters brought into the world, and I love the fact that he and his band bankrolled so much Monty Python stuff.

Oh, as someone who grew up on Monty Python, I can relate!! Never liked the Beatles much, but knowing George Harrison funded Life of Brian almost single-handed is a big point in my book :D

True, I see what you mean about living in their time then, but at the same time, we living now also got to experience a bunch of younger artists that wouldn't have been accessible to us then.

While I listen to a lot of metal, I do have a soft spot for some of the greats of this era of music. When I swing from something like Machinehead or Arch Enemy to Florence and the Machine people ... doubt my sanity.

I just like deep and profound things - and they can be found across most genres. That, and I like story.

I hate to bug you about it again (but I want to!), but did you read my Florence and Ferrari tidbit?
