Can I take my stability with me, or should I strip that, too?
I'm kinda tired and kinda not much fun to talk to these days. I spent all day editing, and while the book seems to be going well, brain not so much. Still, I'll try.
I had a bunch of catch-ups and conversations over the past few days with people, and I notice in myself and others the tendency to gloss over the truth and keep reality lukewarm. How's things. Fine. Great, even.
And aren't they?
I'm so unbearably happy I'm at a real risk of giving myself diabetes. You know why.
I've found, in ways, loads of stability and happiness, and yet, when asked the question how are you doing, I found myself longing to say also,
Well, I don't know, I've got this feeling I'm not my full size just yet.
or
I'm alright, except I'd like to wander and not know myself for a while, and suspect I might really enjoy that.
Things like that you're not supposed to say, except I did, and was delighted to find my feeling mirrored. Was having this same conversation with a friend who's the same age and in ways similar to me in terms of independence and dependency, beauty and insecurity and all those things making us young women today. Are we still young? Perhaps they've just demoted us to women, and isn't it time to crawl inside a hut somewhere on the edfe of the village, bordering the marshes, talking to the snakes?
No? Not yet? Oh well, hey-ho.
I was relieved to see my feeling of disbelonging mirrored, to know just because I long to move don't need to make me awkward or askew. I know, I've talked to you about this many times. This experience of living.
Finding myself as I grow older invited to lie more in order to hide the ways in which I haven't reached "it" yet, except will I ever, or was that all just a childhood mirage?
I want long walks on the beach and curled fingers. You know why.
I want tender touch and rough kisses. I want fire and peach pits in my sticky fingers. And you. And this. What marvel to just be.
I feel bittersweet writing here, kinda like sending missives secretly through a gap in the fence. Like I'm not supposed to. And think a lot about the things I'm meant and not meant to say, and is that wise? Or should I bury the things I'm not supposed to be speaking of?
Of sex and old friends, and pain like a tearing inside my gut that I don't know what to do with.
I think sometimes they left me with dragon's eggs inside, but with this life, also, and I wouldn't trade that for anything, so I guess I'll take my monsters with me and learn to fly, eh?
I'm curious how we tell apart the models when every pilates girlie and their mother's looking like a victoria's secret now, and everyone sounds like AI anyway. Does that happen to you? I'm reading more and more comments of people, and they're all talking like machines. It's because the machines are trained to look like us, I know that. But that doesn't change it, really.

i'm wanting to dress myself in pirate's clothes, and choke you with my widow's pouch. I'm craving play. Writing always leaves me feeling broken and playful at the same time, and it's ten years since I knew how to contain that without risking losing myself.

To have seen, in turn, all these monstrous things which exist inside me, and to be living here, still. Slithering up your belly, to know there's worse things than shedding my skin.
I found Romain Axisa through Ren, whom I found through a man, who I thought for a while was a monster in sheep's clothing, only he was really just a broken, ordinary man.
I thought about him a little lately, because I wrote something in anger and it made m lots of money once, so I figured I should count myself at least grateful to him for that. Only, I went back a few days ago, and couldn't remember what I'd called it, or which one it was.

I've certainly taken up being honest more. People get uncomfortable and can often not deal with confronting the real.
I'll even do it at work, where my honesty can indeed upset people.
I do wish for a lack of awareness or the shortcomings of bounties the world offers, and for the seeds of hope to germinate and flower, but such depths are the wells of my pragmatism that it perhaps becomes a void.
It's not okay for a man to feel this way, like those effortless Victoria-e modela [sic]* you speak about.
It is okay to not be okay, but unfortunately the care of others is curtailed by limitations they dont particularly want to be limited by.

Hey you can do that anytime. And at least snakes aren't using AI - I think. I am so disappointed in the majority of content creators that are that fucking lazy they're using AI to make us think they have any value at all, and I'm sick of wondering whether people aren't using AI but are speaking like it because that's all they are reading, and that all our literature will be reduced to anaphora and collections of mic drops.
