Another month is over. We have been lacking a bit of content but we are still standing, and our plans have not changed.
What a year it has been. We can't wait to celebrate another year with the HIVE community.

Hello Hivers!

We are the Hive Music Video Foundation - HMVF for short. After @solymi, @ravenmus1c, @indiebandguru, @tibfox and @slothlydoesit! 😊 As we are all busy with our own projects and still need to earn our money with a "normal" job, we are happy to get another helping hand, so join us if you like! We are open for: musicians, songwriters film makers, dancers, and anyone who wants to be involved in the production of an HIVE based music video. Don't be shy! Reach out to us!

You can participate in the power-up day on HIVE by powering up at least 10 HIVE at the first of the month. You can earn cool badges and also help grow the distribution of our HIVE.

We have focussed on curating and have managed to raise our HP to 1992.
The below image shows our current wallet holdings before powering up.

All these nice curation rewards are automatically raising our HIVE power and they would not be possible without the generous delegation by @balte. We can't be thankful enough here, thank you very much for this opportunity.

After we powered up 35.626 HIVE we are currently on a total owned HP of 1,228.821, and again we can adjust our delegations outwards to receive those curation rewards in a liquid form and also help various projects to grow and distribute HIVE widely and fairly.

We keep our delegations as they are now. And increase DIY hub to 301 HP

Why we power up HP

We want to contribute to the stability of the HIVE blockchain and show our commitment towards the long-term view on HIVE. Since we are not planning to disappear in 3 months and we want to grow our account so we later have a bigger power when it comes to voting.
Our long term goal is to have a self sufficient way of helping film makers and musicians to create their own HIVE funded music videos. Having more power is a small step towards this goal, and we will not stop powering up our liquid HIVE.

What is our project about?

We wan't to connect video producers and musicians so they can collaborate on their own music video projects. The foundations greatest goal is to produce music videos of high quality helping both sides with resources and a bigger exposure.

The Idea started with me (solymi) having no actual showreel material to put in my portfolio. As a film maker and director you need to have a showreel featuring your own projects to have an actual chance to score a paid directors job.

The best way to get showreel material is to shoot it on your own. An easy way is the genre of music videos since they are completely free in their form and you can interconnect many aspects of storytelling. It is also relatively cheap compared to producing short narrative movies.

Hive is full of great artists, film makers, photographers, graphic designers, actors models, dancers etc. There is thousands of possibilities for collaboration. Why not stay in the hive family if possible? If a dancer can be paid in hive to participate in a music video, wouldn't that be awesome?
