Seriously, I don’t think the world will ever hear voices like that again. Freddie was the frontman of Queen. You know, the guy who gave us “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “We Are the Champions.” His voice could go from soft and gentle to loud and wild in a second. He had this energy that just pulled you in.

I mean, have you ever seen him perform at Live Aid? Pure electricity.

David Bowie.

The man was like a musical chameleon, always changing, always ahead of his time. He created these characters like Ziggy Stardust and made songs that didn’t sound like anyone else’s.

“Space Oddity,” “Let’s Dance,” “Heroes” he did it all, and he did it with style. His voice was so unique, cool, deep and full of emotion. The image above is Freddie and Bowie in the same room at Live Aid, 1985. They worked together and gave us “Under Pressure.”

That song still gives me chills. It wasn’t just their voices blending, it was like two worlds crashing into each other, in the best way. You could feel the passion, the tension, the genius of both of them in every note.
