You have a very good original song here, and you're also a great guitarist, which are points in your favor. Hive Open Mic participants must learn to promote themselves as musicians. We suggest that, in addition to the video, you take eye-catching photos that will be the public's first introduction to your post. A photo repeated weekly with headphones does not attract new people.

Take photos with your guitar, edit them nicely, and use them to your advantage to capture the interest of people and curators on Hive. This is a recommendation made to many participants, and not everyone wants to do it. Hive Open Mic is no longer an incubated community, so everything you contribute to your post will give you a better chance of standing out among so many participants. Keep that in mind.
