Global harmony is our mission. World peace is our vision. Our community's weekly live music celebration reaches musicians and listeners globally on a virtual stage, upholding the classic pattern of an open mic event. At the end of each week, we enjoy a community concert, highlighting a Spotlight Artist.

Our song circle is a place of belonging for anyone who appreciates live music. Our creative space offers a chance to build real relationships worldwide between music fans and musicians of every style and any skill level. Every contributor can be proud of the fact we are co-creating a more harmonious world by sharing the joys of music.

For Hive Open Mic 169, we will explore the following theme: "War." This theme is chosen by our community's recent Spotlight Artist: @jasperdick. Everyone is encouraged to express and connect through.

This week's Hive Open Mic theme is: “War.” This is a pressure-free invitation, encouraging us to explore new territory together as artists, sharing common ground as a community. Musicians always have full freedom to bring whatever music feels inspired in the moment. Here's a timeline, for anyone wishing to look back, be present, or prepare future entries.

How To Play

1. Produce - Introduce your video by saying the words, “Hive Open Mic Week 168,” including your name. Perform a song.
2. Present - Post your video in the Hive Open Mic community. Include the tag #openmic.
3. Promote - Share your link in the comments section of Sunday's open mic invitation in order to ensure your entry is heard.
4. Prosper - Build relationships by engaging with fellow music lovers through uplifting comments.

La guerra es una temática que puede llevarnos a reflexionar mucho sobre este flajelo mundial. Ya puedo predecir muy buenas y significativas entradas para esta semana.

Estoy segura que está semana traerá no solamente grandes presentaciones a nivel vocal e instrumental, sino que permitirá leer grandes reflexiones.

Porque la guerra sigue siendo un tema vigente, y aún existen muchas personas que la viven diariamente. Es importante hacer una reflexión sobre ¿Cómo podemos nosotros a través de la armonía global, contribuir al cese de la guerra en el mundo entero?

I am sure that this week will bring not only great vocal and instrumental presentations, but also great reflections.

Because war is still a current issue, and there are still many people who live it on a daily basis. It is important to reflect on how we, through global harmony, can contribute to the cessation of war in the whole world.

Qué tema. La guerra. Podemos inventarnos la guerra del amor. Una guerra de abrazos y saludos. Una guerra infinita de bendiciones para todo aquél que la necesite.
No miremos el lado oscuro sino ese lado donde hay mucha gente haciendo la guerra para implantar un mundo de amor y solidarizado.
Es un tema de muchas aristas. Suerte para todos.

¡Saludos a todos! sin duda el tema que trae el amigo @jasperdick es un tema de mucha relevancia en el contexto de la situación mundial actual. La guerra, a pesar de ser un tema controversial y una situación lamentable donde sufren muchas personas, ha formado parte de nuestra realidad desde los inicios de la historia humana, pero como decía John Lennon "podrás decir que soy un soñador, pero no soy el único" ¡mientras existan personas dispuestas a creer que se puede vivir en paz, existe la esperanza de un mundo mejor! pronto compartiré mi participación :)

¡Hola a todos! Con la temática de esta semana que es: GUERRA. Una persona que sienta que debe estar constantemente caminando con los ojos en la espalda, vigilando cada paso que da y sigiloso por donde quiera que va... Es una guerra que todo soldado debe batallar en su interior y con el entorno. Muchos se contaminan mezclándose con una cultura violenta. Pero el verdadero guerrero o héroe (digno de aplaudir) es aquel que da los primeros pasos para generar un cambio en sí mismo y conciencia en otros de manera positiva. 💪 🙌 👏

Hello everyone! With this week's theme that is: WAR. A person who feels that he must constantly walk with his eyes on his back, watching every step he takes and stealthy wherever he goes... It is a war that every soldier must fight within himself and with the environment. Many become contaminated by mixing with a violent culture. Here is my entry to the Week #169 - "War", a little more relaxed than in previous days, although it is still hard for me because of the limitations I have with the computer nowadays, however, this post is made with all my love for you.
