A Picture is Worth A Thousand Words
I was in the kitchen trying to get some things put together for breakfast. I heard that my phone was ringing. I asked myself, “Must I go everywhere with my phone?” No, I don't think so. I need to have my phone with me but not here in the kitchen.
I think it will be better if I can do something, maybe purchase an ear pod or something similar. I turned the gas off and went inside to check who was calling.
Guess who! It's my friend, Joy. Joy is a wonderful person. She is a wonderful friend of mine. I called her the day before but she did not pick the call. It's so early, maybe she needed something, I had to call her back to check if she was okay.
I called her and the phone rang but she did not pick up my call I had to drop the phone then go back to the kitchen she called me back after a while and she told me that she needs help, she asked me to borrow her money. I don’t have any! how much are we talking about she needs #15,000.
I said I don’t have but she won’t listen to me she gets asking me over and over again please, please she said it several times. I had to reconsider I don’t have money to borrow you. I said you have what you can sell. She has two violins.
You have two violins, let us sell one so that you can use the money for whatsoever you want to use it for she said she’s not ready to sell a violin and she wants me to borrow out the money. It was early in the morning and I was planning to travel to another state so I was in a hurry so that I could meet the early morning bus.
I told her I will call her back and she just said Okay. the journey took about 8 hours and after I got to where I am going I called her back but she didn’t pick up my call I tried to call her several times but all was to no avail. She broke probably go maybe our relationship wasn’t so profitable for her.
From that day I knew that I have lost my friend, so awful. She was the best I had even when I was at the university she used to help me with many things. When I was having an issue with the school fees I called and she responded, she asked me to sort it out and I was glad.
I thought about how I lost my friend week after week I’m in deep thought because I could not call my friend again. I thought about how to make a few changes and have new friends.
So I decided to talk to a few ladies around my house can I got a friend but she isn’t like my former friend Oh my former best friend, the violinist.
She already promised that she was going to teach me how to play violin and this picture reminds me of how passionate she does it oh let me see Smith meetings it makes me think of how passionate I would be playing violin.
This is my entry for A Picture is worth a thousand words
What I see A young man wearing plain black clothes but white shoes, holding violin in a position that seems as if he is playing it. His fingers are positioned as if he is about to play some chords.
******What I feel****** He must be thinking of playing some emotional song. I also think he is uploading the video on his YouTube channel.

Your friend might be in financial need but you cannot give what you don't have. Her need can not be that high if she refuses to sell one of her violins.
A true friend is hard to find. If it is just about money it is not friendship.
Thanks for your entry.
I totally agree with this, "If it is just about money it is not friendship." Thanks for your entry.
