Es inevitable llorar cuando escuchamos ‘Marinero de luces’, porque no solo se trata de la interpretación que realiza Isabel Pantoja, sino que detrás de esta canción hay una inolvidable historia llena de nostalgia y amor.

Un 30 de abril de 1982, Isabel Pantoja contrajo matrimonio con el amor de su vida, el famoso torero Francisco Rivera apodado ‘Paquirri’, quien no solo fue su esposo, sino también su amigo, y el hombre de su vida. Sin embargo, un 2 de septiembre de 1984, murió a causa de la cornada de un toro negro, en la arena de Pozo Blanco en Córdoba, España.

Después de un año de ausencia, ‘La Viuda de España’, retorna a escena, en 1985, con un nuevo álbum, de título ‘Marinero de luces’, que escribió y produjo para ella José Luis Perales. Todas las canciones del álbum eras dedicadas a su esposo, hablaban de la tristeza del duelo y que llegó hasta el corazón de millones de personas en el mundo.

Quien es Isabel Pantoja?

Es una cantante española. Nació en el distrito de Triana de Sevilla, España. Ha publicado más de una docena de álbumes a lo largo de una carrera que abarca muchas décadas, la mayoría de género copla, y es conocida por su característico estilo andaluz.

Nació en una familia gitana de músicos. Tanto su padre como su abuelo eran cantantes.

Pantoja comenzó a actuar precozmente a los siete años en el conjunto flamenco de su prima Chiquetete. A los 17 años conoció a su "maestro" Juan Solano Pedrero, quien escribió sus primeros éxitos junto al escritor y poeta Rafael de León. Pantoja cultivó la copla , un género en decadencia en el momento que volvió a popularizarse. Algunos de sus primeros éxitos fueron "El Pájaro Verde", "Garlochí" o "El Señorito". En 1983 lanzó su primer álbum pop, Cambiar por ti , que incluía la canción del mismo título, "En la Niebla", o "Nada". A partir de ese momento, Pantoja alternó baladas y canciones románticas con la copla.
