HOW TO COPE WITH STRESS, ADVERSITY AND CHALLENGING SITUATIONS

What the cause of stress, adversity and challenging situations?

Many times, it's as a result of no results when we have tried to our limit. It's is very devastating to have put in all efforts and still have no hard work evidence. What motivates us as human are results. When results are lacking, we tend to be stressed, tired, if care is not taken, we give up and accept life the way it is.

We feel we are not good enough, especially when you had more than enough sleepless nights and still finding yourself at the same ground level you've been.

At times, the environment we find ourselves adds more to our stress, this will be funny, but at times, I do feel like the country I found myself is always adding to my stress😂😂 there is a Lil truth in what I have just said though.

Let me back up my point, there was this time I wanted to run Facebook ads for a buyer on fiverr(he's white) he couldn't handle what I needed, I waited for him to give in to giving me his details so I could help him, I felt he wouldn't trust a Nigerian if I asked 😂 but guess what? I was right. He said if I had asked for his details, he would have thought that I'm a fraud because I'm a Nigerian😂😂

I smiled and replied, "I understand your point, but I wouldn't have chosen this country if I were asked in heaven before coming to planet earth😂 I opened my eyes and found myself in Nigeria, what would you have me do? Kill myself? 😂😂 He couldn't say anything. I preceded by telling him that every country has their bad sides, I'm a Nigerian doesn't mean I'm not better than you, that was how I won.

Environment, family, and many other things affect us negatively, even friends! Now let's proceed.

HOW DO I COPE WITH STRESS, ADVERSITY AND CHALLENGING SITUATIONS?

Self talk! This is very key, no matter how bad your situation may be, the most funny thing is, "it's still your problem!" it's no one's problem, many people fail to understand this, they expect people to come around. What if those you were expecting didn't come around? One way or the other, it'll definitely add to your burden cos you'd be disappointed and devasted.

Speak to yourself! Say good things to yourself, you alone can help yourself the way you need to, you know where you hurt, you understand yourself more than anyone can even if you carry a dictionary to explain to your friend 😂. Help yourself with good talks, speak to your head when needed.

Why do you need to speak to yourself? You need to speak to yourself because it's your problem! You'll pass through it yourself. I know it's hard and a lot of work, but once you master this, you've won yourself a gold medal, trust me!

Learn to brace yourself, 2023 hasn't ended yet, encourage yourself, support yourself with positive thoughts, a lot can still happen before this year ends, it might sound like a job, but there's still a lot left in this year to achieve, stay positive, see you at the top❤️👍
