Mi Proyecto Musical cierra Exposición Fotográfica - F.U.M.O. 10º Aniversario  || My Music Project closes Photographic Exhibition - F.U.M.O. 10th Anniversary [ESP-ING]

F.U.M.O. (Funerales de Una Mente Oxidada) no era un proyecto musical del momento en la ciudad, el éxito se extendía cada vez más porque en cada presentación lograba tomar riesgos, me aventuraba a nuevas cosas. Me enfocaba en poder experimentar con mi música bajo mis propias reglas, a pesar de que muy poca gente me conocía con mi proyecto, y que por mucho tiempo pasé tocando mi música en solitario. De un momento a otro fue saliendo el atrevimiento y fueron apareciendo las oportunidades de hacer cosas distintas, todo empezó a ser posible; poder tocar en los espacios de la ciudad, compartir con amigos, conocer gente nueva... definitivamente son experiencias que no se borraran de mi mente tan fácilmente.

F.U.M.O. (Funerales de Una Mente Oxidada) was not a musical project of the moment in the city, the success was spreading more and more because in each presentation I managed to take risks, I ventured into new things. I was focused on being able to experiment with my music under my own rules, even though very few people knew me with my project, and I spent a long time playing my music solo. From one moment to the next the daring came out and the opportunities to do different things began to appear, everything started to be possible; to be able to play in the city's venues, share with friends, meet new people? These are definitely experiences that will not be erased from my mind so easily.

Cada presentación de F.U.M.O. fue uno oportunidad única, poder mostrar el trabajo de distintas maneras, adaptándolo a los espacios y eventos, lo consideraba audaz, aportándome mucho crecimiento y valor. Narrar esta historia de tantos años me llena de satisfacción porque me hace dar cuenta del contratiempo que hubiese podido tener para ese entonces, solo eran propulsores de lo que deseaba manifestar en el momento; solo mantenía una lección en mi mente: Poder mostrar mi música. Esto trae sin ventajas e inconvenientes, sin embargo, de solo hacer presencia en el lugar, afrontar mis miedos y ser empático con el público era el mayor aprendizaje.

Each presentation of F.U.M.O. was a unique opportunity, to be able to show the work in different ways, adapting it to the spaces and events, I considered it audacious, bringing me much growth and value. Narrating this story of so many years fills me with satisfaction because it makes me realize the setback that I could have had at that time, they were only propellers of what I wanted to manifest at the time; I only kept one lesson in my mind: To be able to show my music. This brings without advantages and disadvantages, however, just being present in the place, facing my fears and being empathetic with the public was the biggest learning.

En esta oportunidad fui invitado por mi amigo Juan Carlos Barrientos Ottolina (@juanzod) a formar parte del cierre de su exposición fotográfica. Juan, como creador de la Exposición Fotográfica titulada "Acrónimo de un Emprendimiento", intentaba promover en la ciudad en poder del emprendimiento, por lo que busco presentar la historia de algunas personas referentes en la ciudad a través de la fotografía. Para ello se buscó a @zailecita para hacer el registro fotográfico artístico de estos emprendedores, para de esta manera presentar la obra fotográfica. Esa exposición causó sensación en la ciudad, allí trabajé como Diseñador Gráfico, y tocar en el cierre de ese gran trabajo para mí fue un gran honor, fue increíble la experiencia.

This time I was invited by my friend Juan Carlos Barrientos Ottolina (@juanzod) to be part of the closing of his photo exhibition. Juan, as the creator of the photographic exhibition entitled "Acronym of an Entrepreneurship", tried to promote in the city the power of entrepreneurship, so I seek to present the history of some people in the city through photography. For this, @zailecita was sought to make the artistic photographic record of these entrepreneurs, and thus present the photographic work. That exhibition caused a sensation in the city, there I worked as a Graphic Designer, and playing in the closing of that great work for me was a great honor, it was incredible experience.

Para este momento, F.U.M.O. se volvió muy minimalista y experimental, presenté las canciones a dos guitarras y un cello, fue bastante agradable, fue un plan ideal para la ocasión, entre casual y formal; interesante. No medité mucho la idea, solo se dio la oportunidad de hacer de esa manera y salió genial. Hoy, posiblemente me haga pensar que todas esas ideas desmedidas debí organizarlas mejor y evaluar los pro y contra, pero, a pesar de todo ello, las ideas caminaban muy bien, no había dudas, la única premisa era disfrutar mi proyecto musical, crecer como persona a través de mi propia música.

For this moment, F.U.M.O. became very minimalist and experimental, I presented the songs to two guitars and a cello, it was quite nice, it was an ideal plan for the occasion, between casual and formal; interesting. I didn't think too much about the idea, it was just given the opportunity to do it that way and it came out great. Today, possibly it makes me think that all those excessive ideas I should have organized them better and evaluated the pros and cons, but, in spite of all this, the ideas were going very well, there were no doubts, the only premise was to enjoy my musical project, to grow as a person through my own music.
