Mi experiencia con el Video Lyric 'Llévame a tu Orilla' | My experience with the Video Lyric ‘Llévame a tu Orilla’ [ESP-ING]

La ejecución de proyectos creativos para artistas representa una oportunidad de mucho crecimiento para mí, por lo que, a pesar de que ha pasado tiempo desde la entrega del Premio del Song Challenge realizado por la comunidad de Music Zone; quiero expresar el desarrollo de proceso creativo de esta realización audiovisual. Cada artista es único, y desde esa perspectiva, explorar el pensamiento de ellos según su narrativa y conexión con su obra, es fascinante, me permite experimentar con nuevos discursos visuales, como siempre digo: Hacer la música visual. Además, el grado extra se dificulta al enfrentar a dirigir el proyecto a distancia.

The execution of creative projects for artists represents an opportunity of great growth for me., so, although it has been a while since the awarding of the Song Challenge Prize by the Music Zone community; I want to express the development of the creative process of this audiovisual realization. Each artist is unique, and from that perspective, exploring their thinking according to their narrative and connection with their work, is fascinating, it allows me to experiment with new visual discourses, as I always say: Make visual music. Also, the extra degree is made more difficult when faced with directing the project from a distance.

Luego de una comunicación virtual constante con @elisonr13, indagando sobre la interpretación de su composición, y tomando en cuenta los recursos disponibles para él, decido hacerle una propuesta a través de un guion muy sencillo; así, de esta manera, compró la idea con mucho entusiasmo. El trabajo remoto requirió dedicación para hacer la propuesta visual, que se pudiera comprender con facilidad y el artista pudiera replicarla sin grandes complicaciones. La comprensión y expresión de Elison sobre su canción eran profundas, descripción que me ayudaban a visualizar los detalles visuales para enriquecer la idea propuesta, dándome seguridad de que los elementos a utilizar tenían probabilidad de que funcionaran bien con la obra.

After a constant virtual communication with @elisonr13, inquiring about the interpretation of his composition, and taking into account the resources available to him, I decide to make him a proposal through a very simple script; thus, in this way, he bought the idea with great enthusiasm. The remote work required dedication to make the visual proposal, which could be easily understood and the artist could replicate it without great complications. Elison's understanding and expression of her song was profound, a description that helped me visualize the visual details to enrich the proposed idea, giving me confidence that the elements to be used were likely to work well with the work.

Elison me comentó que había un árbol en su pueblo que le encantaba; eso despertó mi chispa, esa locación era perfecta para la grabación, eligiendo el atardecer para hacerlo más poético... desde allí partió toda la propuesta visual. Un par de semanas después, recibo la data de la grabación y quedé encantado. Superó mis expectativas, un bello atardecer que llamaba a la contemplación, perfecto con la idea de la canción, alineada totalmente. La simplicidad y el minimalismo de las tomas permitió destacar la conexión entre la canción y lo natural de la vida; del Supremo. Con esto se da a entender la inmensidad de Dios, y que somos seres subordinados a su orden divino.

Elison told me that there was a tree in her town that she loved; that awakened my spark, that location was perfect for the recording, choosing the sunset to make it more poetic... from there the whole visual proposal started. A couple of weeks later, I received the data of the recording and I was delighted. It exceeded my expectations, a beautiful sunset that called for contemplation, perfect with the idea of the song, totally aligned. The simplicity and minimalism of the shots allowed to highlight the connection between the song and the naturalness of life; of the Supremo. With this, the immensity of God is implied, and that we are beings subordinated to his divine order.

Para el momento de la edición, la parte de video no le vi con gran complicación; sin embargo, no tenía claridad de cómo sería la animación de la letra, no encontraba la manera de integrar los elementos gráficos y tipográficos que hicieran armonía con la intensión de la canción. Hasta que, un día, en algún momento, enlacé los argumentos y me dio la idea de hacerlo fluido, haciendo alusión al fluir de la vida y la naturaleza, usando un tipo de letra fresco, con curvas y no tan rígido. Por esa razón, la animación del texto traté de que fuera lo más sutil y suave posible, incluyendo ese efecto "flotante" para mantener la atención visual del espectador.

At the time of editing, the video part was not very complicated; however, I had no clarity on how the animation of the lyrics would be, I could not find a way to integrate the graphic and typographic elements that would be in harmony with the intention of the song. Until, one day, at some point, I linked the arguments and I had the idea of making it fluid, alluding to the flow of life and nature, using a fresh typeface, with curves and not so rigid. For that reason, the animation of the text I tried to make it as subtle and smooth as possible, including that "floating" effect to keep the viewer's visual attention.

Una vez más me convenzo del poder colaborativo de la Comunidad de @musiczone para hacer crecer a los artistas e inspirarlos para que vayan construyendo su camino, y así, aportar en sus carreras como artistas. Trabajar con Music Zone como con Elison ha sido muy gratificante, me inspira a seguir apoyando estas iniciativas artísticas sin mirar las barreras de la distancia. Once again I am convinced of the collaborative power of the @musiczone Community to grow artists and inspire them to build their path, and thus, contribute to their careers as artists. Working with Music Zone as with Elison has been very rewarding, it inspires me to continue to support these artistic initiatives without looking at the barriers of distance.
