La música transcenderá siempre cualquier forma de comunicación, es un lenguaje que vas más allá de la forma física, va directo a la esencia del ser, determinará nuestro soundtrack para los diferentes momentos que vivimos. El músico, por lo regular, está claro en el potencial de su arte y hasta donde puede llegar con su mensaje, por lo que no para de crear y trabajar cada día en mejorar, tanto musical como personalmente. El músico posee, y va desarrollando en su crecimiento, cualidades que lo hacen singular en su forma de expresarse musicalmente.

Music will always transcend any form of communication, it is a language that goes beyond the physical form, it goes directly to the essence of being, it will determine our soundtrack for the different moments we live. The musician, usually, is clear about the potential of his art and how far he can reach with his message, so he does not stop creating and working every day to improve, both musically and personally. The musician possesses, and develops in his growth, qualities that make him unique in his way of expressing himself musically.

Estas líneas vienen a propósito del Día del Músico, fecha que se conmemoró hace unos pocos días. Estas fotos me hacen darle honor a todas esas habilidades que tienen todas estas personas que se dedican al arte de la música. Es admirable la cantidad de horas que invierten para ejecutar su instrumento cada día mejor y enfocar su creatividad en la composición de nuevas piezas musicales. Como toda disciplina, la música, de la misma forma que otras artes, es un camino que no siempre ofrece brillantes momentos, también hay situaciones y épocas que se requiere mucha automotivación para salir a flote y mantenerse en el camino de la música.

These lines come on the occasion of the Musician's Day, a date that was commemorated a few days ago. These photos make me give honor to all those skills that all these people who dedicate themselves to the art of music have. It is admirable the amount of hours they invest to play their instrument better every day and focus their creativity in the composition of new musical pieces. Like any discipline, music, like other arts, is a path that does not always offer brilliant moments, there are also situations and times that require a lot of self-motivation to get ahead and stay on the path of music.

Rendir homenaje a la música no diferencia el área de ella en la que se dedique la persona, lo importante es la constancia es desarrollar la disciplina y cada día mejorar un poco más. Practicar todos los días es fundamental para destacarse con mayor fluidez, tanto para algún instrumento como para mejorar la técnica vocal. Con toda la revolución digital, hoy, ser artista conlleva ser más autocorporativo, no solo basta aprender y desarrollar la habilidad de la música, sino también a ser tu propio productor, buscar espacios para presentarse y hablar con las personas indicadas que te ayuden a impulsar tu talento.

Paying tribute to music does not differentiate the area of it in which the person is dedicated, the important thing is the constancy is to develop discipline and every day to improve a little more. Practicing every day is essential to stand out with greater fluency, both for an instrument and to improve vocal technique. With all the digital revolution, today, being an artist involves being more self-corporate, it is not enough to learn and develop the skill of music, but also to be your own producer, look for spaces to perform and talk to the right people to help you boost your talent.

La particularidad del músico es su resistencia en el tiempo, no rendirse y seguir adelante sin parar, independientemente de que las cosas vayan bien o no tan bien. La carrera del músico tiene que ver más con el optimismo y la paciencia, el recorrido es lo más importante, siempre habrá desafíos que atender, el éxito en el arte no es un lugar estacionario, es un escalón más para tomar impulso y seguir adelante. La mentalidad positiva es necesaria para mantenerse en el ruedo.

The particularity of the musician is his endurance over time, not to give up and keep going forward without stopping, regardless of whether things are going well or not so well. The musician's career has more to do with optimism and patience, the journey is the most important thing, there will always be challenges to meet, success in art is not a stationary place, it is one more step to gain momentum and move forward. The positive mentality is necessary to stay in the ring.

El registro fotográfico que les presento fue realizado en Duitama, Boyacá-Colombia, un proyecto de Diego Gris y su Power Trío, de la ciudad de Paipa, Boyaca-Colombia. Un concierto organizado por la Corporación Cultural Atabanza y el local Get Back, llamado Rock n´Roll Circus Fest. Las fotos se hicieron con una cámara reflex Canon 700D y editadas en Adobe Lightroom.

The photographic record that I present to you was taken in Duitama, Boyacá-Colombia, a project of Diego Gris and his Power Trio, from the city of Paipa, Boyaca-Colombia. A concert organized by the Cultural Corporation Atabanza and the local Get Back, called Rock n'Roll Circus Fest. The photos were taken with a Canon 700D reflex camera and edited in Adobe Lightroom.
