My 4th day NO SUGAR Actifit Report Card: December 4 2024

Today, my fitness day got me to several places.
Most mornings I meditate for about one hour when I wake up. This morning I used the relaxing melody of Zen Breakfast by Karunesh. I enjoy meditating with this masterpiece due to the deep connection it has with the Heart Chakra. While it's very relaxing, also makes the heart to open to forgiveness and love.

When I got off bed I stretched a little to get ready to move. Had some breakfast, took a shower and shaved my beard. The water was very cold due to the weather. Cold showers have healthy benefits for the body; from stress relief, muscle soreness to improve the immune system.

It was around 12 midday when I put my gym clothes on and biked there for my workout.
Before getting to the gym I went to a clinic to get my weight measurement.


164 pounds with clothes, shoes, keys and phone on me. I'd say my body alone is around 162 pounds.

Today was back and biceps day. I go at this time of the day cause the gym might be empty; that way I can take my time and do the workout well done.
I'm enjoying the gym a lot. At the beginning, two months ago, I didn't feel like going so much and when I was there I just wanted to leave as soon as possible. Now, that's changing. I put my effort for a good workout but also I enjoy it.

I did others for the same muscle group using different machines.

In between exercises, I did some abs. As I'm preparing my body to mark abdominal muscles
I did several repetitions of these.

It's the 4th day out of 30 on this Challenge: NO SUGAR FOR A MONTH. Today it was easier, I didn't feel the cravings I felt yesterday. That means my body is detoxing from sugar. Also, some of the members in the WhatsApp group I created for this challenge gave their testimony. Some say they have been strong. Others say they feel much better and more energized. One of them has diabetes, she mentioned she's been drinking her coffee without sugar and she's not having her habitual desert every night after dinner. It's awesome to achieve these kind of goals and also to inspire others to do the same.

The group goal is 7 days. My own goal is a month.

After doing some chores, I cooked dinner earlier since we had a national blackout. Made some salad and steak. I ate it while I was talking with my mom and she was reading one of my post here on Hive about a walk to Havana, she was giving me her impression about it. By the time I was finishing my meal, the electricity was fixed. Took a shower and went to bed to rest, watch TV and write this Actifit report.

I feel accomplished today. I'm impressed with the strength I'm having to avoid sugar. This means a lot to me and my overall health.

I'll call it a day. Gonna rest to grow some muscles cause when we rest or sleep is when they actually grow...
