I fell you bro. I also closed a very important chapter of my life almost a year ago now. It's been a slow process, because this person is not far from me, but we have a too much different vision of our own future and we decided to brake up. We are still friends but it's really hard for me to force myself to not consider her as my girl anymore. So I understand what you're feeling, your need to close once and for all and put a safe distance in your mind.

Yes, brother! Thank you for reading, I truly appreciate it. It makes me feel less alone in these times when we all expect everything to be perfect, or at least stable, and for it to be a time of joy. I hope you had a wonderful holiday season, by the way. The process has been slow, and yes, it hurts; the wound is still open. But I've decided to slowly let that wound heal by doing what you said: setting boundaries. And honestly, there's no bigger boundary for me than distance. I'm starting to envision my life without that person, and I don't think that's wrong, because there's nothing left. But my body struggles to accept that. However, these past few days I've been much more stable, thinking more about the future and seeing a different 2026 in every way. I really appreciate the friendship you've given me; Hive has truly done a great job in this.
