Peroni sucks

Today I have a special Italian beer for you
This is Peroni Nastro Azzurro Stile Capri. Where should I start from?
Peroni is a really popular and big industrial brewery in Italy. Founded in Vigevano in 1846, it's been acquired by Danone (wtf?) in 1988 and then sold to the Japanese Asahi (WTF n°2?) in 2016.
Nastro Azzurro is a pilsener produced by Peroni since the 1960s.

It's brewed from barley and an Italian variety of corn and it's characterized by a very light and fresh taste. This Capri Style is even lighter (4,2% alcohol), designed to cool down the hot summer Italian nights. In fact it's added with Italian lemon peel and olive leaf to get a really peculiar and interesting aroma.
The foam is really light and disappears in few seconds. This beer is really fresh and gets close to a radler... except that it sucks 😂
It tastes like watered down beer, almost sparkling water with a hint of lemon and that olive aroma on the back (that I appreciated, for real!).
I think I have a problem with Peroni. I once drunk their straight lager; I tried their Gran Riserva Rossa, a stronger red Vienna style beer. I don't like any of these. Now I know: I'll never drink Peroni again. Maybe it's just me... Let me know if you ever had one and if you liked it.

I'm so so excited because I'm gonna see Franz Ferdinand performing live next Thursday! 😍
It's the second time for me and so I know how much fun it is. I've listened to their new album and I love it. Though I think the singles they released to promote it are not even the best songs on the record. My favourite is Hooked for sure! It sounds so tasty and juicy 😏 Also I played it during a birthday party last week and everybody was asking "This song is amazing! Who's it from?". Can't wait to witness it played live!

I legit always thought Peroni was just fancy water. I don't drink beer, and I know that beer is not fancy water, it is beer, but huh. Is it a crime against humanity to waste water by turning it into bad beer? I think that may have been a better critique of the beer. (And a crime against sand to turn it into a Peroni bottle)

I only drink Peroni when there are no decent beer options. It's just not that special. I've not had the Capri and I won't be rushing to try it. Life is too short for bad !BEER
If there's no good beer at the place, I just get a coke. That's always good
