🎶 Three Tune Tuesday – German Edition 🇩🇪

This week I wanted to dedicate my post to German music, inspired by my recent visit to the country.
Over the years, I’ve listened to many German bands—some singing in their native language, others in English.
A few of them have influenced my sound, while others I simply enjoy listening to.

In my opinion, Germany has produced some of the finest European artists, right after the UK.
Here’s a small selection of German artists that I really like.

EnglishEspañol
### Modern Talking – Atlantis Is Calling

One of the most iconic and popular synthpop duos. I love how their music still sounds fresh even decades after its release, despite the band no longer being active.

What fascinates me most is their instantly recognizable sound. They mastered the formula of creating catchy melodies with excellent production. In fact, their music has been a huge influence in shaping my own 80s-inspired synthpop sound.
### Modern Talking – Atlantis Is Calling

### And One – Zerstörer
(

The party never ends when And One is on stage. Their music leans more towards EBM with touches of industrial, always ready for the dancefloor.

I had the chance to see them live in Bogotá, and it was truly amazing—I didn’t stop dancing and singing along to many of their classics.
### And One – Zerstörer
(

### Sopor Aeternus & The Ensemble of Shadows – A Strange Thing To Say
(

Here we enter a world of darkness, madness, rejection, and beauty through the music of Anna-Varney Cantodea.

Sometimes it feels more like a theatrical performance than a music project, but either way, it’s simply brilliant. Neoclassical touches, long immersive songs, and an eternal sorrow that transforms into poetry.
### Sopor Aeternus & The Ensemble of Shadows – A Strange Thing To Say

✨ This was my Three Tune Tuesday dedicated to German musicians who have influenced my taste and sound.
I hope you enjoyed this selection—see you soon for more music discoveries!
