Making music, soundtrap vs bandlab

Starting with music production was not easy but soundtrap helped a lot, as I started making music I never understood where to start so I used a music app to make music. To the point when I got to soundtrap I understood the main thing. Now that I have understood music I got introduced to bandlab. By the way, in the start I did not get interested but by time it got interesting because of the master mixing part, and I will talk about it later.
So we will talk about soundtrap and then bandlab, we will talk about their samples and then their vocal mixing and then included instruments.

SOUNDTRAP
So what is soundtrap, soundtrap is a music production app where you can make your own professional beats and they have a web version and an app. Soundtrap is officially made by spotify and as soundtrap is an unknown music app, users don't even know it's powered by spotify.
So coming to review if we look at the screen soundtrap seems very easy and the way they have made it it's more easy to join as a beginner.

You can find things easy and they have tutorials and support chat. The most likely thing is that they have made an online collaboration chat, where you can make music with other artists online in the world.

SAMPLE
When it comes to samples I love soundtraps melody and piano. The beats are cool too but I am more interested in making them myself. Soundtrap gives you vocal samples and sound effects which are very helpful, and soundtrap publish new samples every month and have a demo beat with it that have helped me improve the structure of my music.

I want to talk about the new update soundtrap have, the first thing is the dark theme because the light theme was very irritating. And then the new music divider so basically they have made some boxes in the top where you can write if it's a hook, verse, bridge or whatever.

VOCAL MIXING
If i truly say i have a very bad time using soundtrap in master mixing, the first thing is that the autotune is not free so you need to buy it and the second thing is that the effect for vocals is not for them, it does not sound good putting dose effects meanwhile if you have buyed there month pack then you will find it easier but as simple i hate to master mix in soundtrap.

INSTRUMENTS
So the last thing for soundtrap is instruments which are pretty good but again if you haven't bought the pack you are not available to all the sounds. By the way, Soundtrap just got a new 808 glide bass that makes it easier to make your own drill beats. Soundtraps' piano version is good too but the beat maker is best and that's what I have used most. I like how easy they have made it and simple.

So I guess overall I will give soundtrap from my way 9 from 10 because of the mixing. Because what else soundtrap is awesome.

BANDLAB
BandLab is also a web music app that is quite popular for small artists, and the owner or founder of that is kuok meng and steve skillings, as i don't know much about them i will start with my review.

SAMPLES
Here is where bandlab loses, their samples are not so good by the way everything is free in bandlab, their samples are ok but you need to adjust them, they have good vocal samples and sound effects and they have many sound packs but they don't have the same sound as they have shown. Bandlab has an amazing flute sound that makes crazy beats.

BandLabs new update is that they have a small page beside the samples where you can write your lyrics, cool ha.

VOCAL MIXING
So here is the reason why I came to bandlab. They offer you amazing autotune with any key, they have different types of autotune like harmony or modern rap, they have the most amazing effects ever and the best presets. I would recommend bandlab for master mixing if you are making a song, not only that i use bandlab for my cartoons so i can change my vocal so it sounds different. Bandlab has all you need for mixing.

INSTRUMENT
I have just to say the piano and synth are amazing but the others are trash, the sound will change and make it worse . By the way, the piano is best for making emotional music. If i say about the beat maker it's ok not so good and not bad i will recommend using samples there.

And overall I will give bandlab 7 of 10.

Last thing I say is I have a mixture of these two so I am using soundtrap for making music and then uploading them to bandlab and records + mix.
