Hamza Ansari KALOPSIA | my first EP
Hey Hive family,
After months of writing, recording, mixing, editing, doubting myself, and still pushing through, I’m finally here with something I’ve poured my heart into.
Today marks the release of the first track from my brand new EP, titled “Kalopsia.”
It’s a word I stumbled across one night. Kalopsia, meaning "the delusion of things being more beautiful than they really are." And that instantly hit me. That one word that stuck in my mind and I thought I should do something with it. That one word became the seed for this entire EP.
Before this project, I dropped three singles that helped me explore my sound and build confidence. Those songs were stepping stones, testing myself as a rapper, a songwriter, a producer, and more importantly as a storyteller. But Kalopsia is something different. It’s a full experience, a complete emotional arc. It’s not just music, it’s how I’ve been feeling, living, and growing.
The first song of the EP, "Bhula Du," is out now.
This one is personal. It’s a love song, but it has that commercial, emotional, melodic vibe too. The kind of track that makes you feel warm, but still leaves you thinking. I wanted it to sound beautiful but also real like a mix of hope and heartbreak in one. If you’ve ever had someone who meant the world to you, and you had to let them go… “Bhula Du” is for you.
I didn’t just want to make another love song. I wanted to make one that felt human. Not perfect, not overproduced, but honest. I worked really hard on the mix, the lyrics, the flow, and even the visuals. Every single line means something to me. Every melody came from a real place. I’m not trying to fake anything here. This is the kind of music I believe in.
The full EP has three songs, each showing a different side of love and emotion. “Bhula Du” is the introduction, the sweet, dreamy beginning. The second song (coming soon) goes deeper, it shows the pain and confusion that comes after love fades. And the final track looks toward the future, the healing, the moving on, the acceptance that not everything lasts, but everything teaches you something.
That last track… man, I really hope people stick around to hear it. It’s like a soft goodbye, but also a reminder that new chapters always come.
More than anything, I just want this project to reach people. If even one person out there listens and feels seen, or comforted, or inspired, that means everything to me.
I’ve done everything I could to make this project feel alive. From writing the lyrics to recording, producing, mixing, and even directing visuals, this is a 100% independent effort. No label. No team. Just passion, long nights, and a whole lot of belief in this dream.
If you’ve been supporting me from the start, I love you. If this is your first time hearing my name or my music, welcome! I’ve got a lot more to share.
You can listen to "Bhula Du" now on YouTube and Spotify (link below).
Every stream, every share, every word of feedback helps me get closer to my vision.
Let’s take Kalopsia as far as it can go.
