Van ocho semanas de intensa competencia en una maravillosa comunidad de Hive, en menos de 3 meses han logrado tener un foco de atención enorme y una participación grande de personas de todas partes del mundo, Latinoamérica, África, Europa, Norteamérica... todos resonando nuestras voces e instrumentos para compartir nuestro talento con la Blockchain, es algo extraordinario como la música nos une y nos mantiene vivos.
Para esta semana Mariangel (Mi sobrina musical) y yo hemos traido una canción de finales de los años 50, titulada "We belong together" de Robert and Jhonny que fue popularizada por el cantante estadounidense Ritchie Valens.
La incluimos en la temática porque realmente esta canción tomó auge para el inicio de los años 60, además que con la muerte de Ritchie Valens en 1959, su música tomó mayor importancia para el comienzo de la siguiente década.
La música es la búsqueda de nuestra versión más gloriosa.
A veces no sabemos si vivimos por la música o hacemos música para vivir, pero lo cierto es que esa búsqueda por ser mejores, por cantar de manera más apasionada, más entregada nos hace llegar a la mejor versión de nosotros mismos. Es como si la música nos conectara con algo más alto y grandioso que nosotros mismos.
Por ende creo que los que somos apasionados por esto nos empeñamos tanto en perfeccionarnos todos los días, a ser mejores, a caminar en un sendero con tantas dificultades y frustraciones como la de ser un músico, pero el contacto con nuestro instrumento, esa relación con los sonidos nos hace elevarnos a otro plano espiritual y mental.
Dios nos dejó este regalo para poder superar todas las dificultades de la vida, démosle gracias por dejarnos parte de su magia con nosotros en el mundo.
Vibes Week 8 - Music Competition.
Eight weeks of intense competition in a wonderful Hive community, in less than 3 months they have managed to have a huge focus of attention and a large participation of people from all over the world, Latin America, Africa, Europe, North America ... all resonating our voices and instruments to share our talent with the Blockchain, it is something extraordinary how music unites us and keeps us alive.
For this week Mariangel (My musical niece) and I have brought a song from the late 50's, entitled "We belong together" by Robert and Jhonny which was popularized by the American singer Ritchie Valens.
We include it in the theme because this song really took boom for the beginning of the 60's, also with the death of Ritchie Valens in 1959, his music became more important for the beginning of the next decade.
Music is the search for our most glorious version.
Sometimes we don't know if we live for music or if we make music to live, but the truth is that the search to be better, to sing more passionately and with more dedication makes us reach the best version of ourselves. It is as if music connects us with something higher and grander than ourselves.
Therefore I believe that those of us who are passionate about this, we strive so hard to improve ourselves every day, to be better, to walk a path with as many difficulties and frustrations as that of being a musician, but the contact with our instrument, that relationship with the sounds makes us rise to another spiritual and mental plane.
God left us this gift to be able to overcome all the difficulties of life, let us thank him for leaving us part of his magic with us in the world.
