Para cualquier artista, es un enorme reto el hecho de poder desarrollar un estilo propio, los más grandes de la historia llegaron a ser lo que son porque se atrevieron a hacer algo que pocos se han arriesgado a hacer, ser auténticos.
La autenticidad en la vida es cada vez más escasa, ya que muchos quieren ser como otras personas, quieren actuar para conseguir más aprobación social, para vender más, para ser "virales"... En cambio los que deseamos ser genuinos, tendemos a ser un poco más rebeldes, a saber decir que no ante lo que amenaza nuestra identidad y convicciones, por lo general, ser nosotros mismos trae más problemas que soluciones, porque el mundo no quiere que seas tú mismo, quiere que seas una copia más de ese que te ponen en la pantalla.
Por ende, esta búsqueda sonora no es una carrera, sino un maratón de por vida, es una lucha para exteriorizar mi mundo musical interior.
Encuentro - Una pieza para Susana Ruiz.
Mi mayor inspiración son las mujeres, ellas son el pináculo del motor creativo que hay en mí, es un misterio, me dejo llevar por su belleza femenina y ahí van apareciendo ideas musicales.
Esta pieza se la dedica a un Violinista llamada Susana Ruíz con la que espero pronto grabar, nunca nos hemos visto en persona, así que decidí crear una pieza que reflejara el momento en que los 2 nos vemos por primera vez, de ahí el nombre "Encuentro".
Algo que me gusta mucho de esta obra, es que logré algo que estaba buscando desde hace tiempo, y era modulaciones con más fluidez, siento que escribir esta pieza me hizo evolucionar mucho como compositor.
Gracias por haber llegado hasta aquí, Dios te bendiga y espero disfrutes de mi música.
In My Search for Sound
For any artist, developing a style of one's own is a monumental challenge. The greatest figures in history became who they were because they dared to do what few have risked: being authentic.
Authenticity in life is becoming increasingly scarce. So many people want to be like someone else, acting in ways that garner social approval, drive sales, or go "viral." In contrast, those of us who desire to be genuine tend to be a bit more rebellious. We know how to say "no" to anything that threatens our identity and convictions. Generally, being ourselves brings more problems than solutions, because the world doesn’t want you to be yourself—it wants you to be just another copy of whoever they put on your screen.
Therefore, this search for sound is not a sprint, but a lifelong marathon; it is a constant struggle to externalize my inner musical world.
Encounter – A Piece for Susana Ruiz
My greatest inspiration is women. They are the pinnacle of my creative engine. It is a mystery to me; I simply allow myself to be carried away by feminine beauty, and that is when musical ideas begin to surface.
This piece is dedicated to a violinist named Susana Ruiz, whom I hope to record with soon. We have never met in person, so I decided to create a work that reflects the moment we see each other for the first time—hence the title, "Encounter."
One thing I truly love about this work is that I achieved something I had been seeking for a long time: more fluid modulations. I feel that writing this piece allowed me to evolve significantly as a composer.
