Three Tune Tuesday 224 - Alphaville concert

(Edited)

Since I went to the Alphaville concert on Friday, this TTT contest #threetunetuesday sponsored by /@ablaze entry will be dedicated to them.
The band was formed in 1982 in Germany, and their first hits become true classics. Unforgetable "Forever Young", "Big in Japan", "Sounds Like a Melody",.....

Now, more than 40 years later, Alphaville still performs with incredible energy and quality .

Ok, you can tell they’re no longer in the bloom of youth, but they still sounded fantastic. Sadly, I never got the chance to see them live back in their younger days, so I can’t compare then and now. But honestly – I was really impressed. The singer is over 70 and you’d never guess it from the way he performed (again maybe if Iwas at some other their concert I would notice different).

At the concert, you could really feel how much they still enjoy making music. The atmosphere was filled with nostalgia and strong vibes.

They still have their passion for music.
What real ysurprised me was seeing how many younger people was in the crowd – I believe that some was born after 2000 and they knew almost every song. That really shows how timeless Alphaville’s realy is.
Their songs have marked entire generations.

Unfortunately, not everything was so wonderful. The organization of the concert was very poor. The unbearable heat and poor air conditioning, and worst of all, the poor sound system ruined the overall impression.

But all in all I'm glad I went.

It started with a "Dance With Me" and "Wish You Were Dead", than (one of the best), "Big In Japan“ after that "Romeos" and soon "Carry Your Flag". With the song "Summer In Berlin" there were recordings of barbed wire on the former Berlin Wall, which reminded me of better times, when we all strived for peace, freedom and togetherness.
They sang the song "Red Rose" with singer Lily Becker (at least that's what my friend told me).

And it all ended with the song "Forever young" and "State of dreams".

Well, I will start with legendary song which you all know

Forever Young"

Big in Japan

Red Rose

And as bonus track one underrated but truly beautiful track

Jerusalem

This 4 YouTube are not owned by me, I'm just sharing music
