Over the Rainbow for the Vives Music Competition (Week 39)

Hi friends! I hope that you all are doing well this weekend. In this opportunity, the competition is about movie songs and I bring you a classic and beautiful song that transmits hope, peace and tranquility to the listener.

Particularly, I selected this song because it is one of my favourites. It was sung by Judy Garland in the Wizard of Oz, and also by Christina Perri in a more modern version.
It has a sweet melody and a soft lyric. I have story with this song because my grandmother liked it and it was the first song that I sang in English in front of a public.

Way up high, there's a land that I heard of once in a lullaby...
... skies are blue and the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true...

I am sure that we all have ever wished to escape to a better and more calm reality to maintain our mental health and looking for pure air. A place where troubles does not exist and we may be happy. That song express that human and normal wish.

Today's world is a crazy society full of noises and pollution, people are stressed and all we need is to be over the rainbow.
We all have ever sung this song in our minds. Now I am singing it for you "a capella".

I really hope that you like my entry and enjoy it as much as me while doing it.
