Afri-Tunes week 114 - Nigbati Mo Ro O by Tope Alabi ( cover ) @greatgodfadaladi
Hi everyone, welcome to @afri-tunes community I'm @greatgodfadaladi, and I'm happy to welcome everyone to this Afri-tunes week 114. It's a great opportunity to hear music with amazing individuals, and I'm looking forward to sharing this music with you all.
I'm going to be sharing a cover of Tope Alabi song Tittle "Nigbati Mo Ro O" this week.
Tope Alabi was birthed on the 27th of October, 1970. She was born and raised in Ibadan, where she completed her secondary and university studies.
Tope Alabi is a well-known gospel singer whose amazing musical endeavors have helped a great number of her admirers in Nigeria heal, come alive, and fill their hearts.
Tope Alabi is regarded as a rare talent in part because of her demonstrated ability to be not only a superb vocalist but also an exceptional actor and producer of motion pictures.
Nigbati Mo Ro is an exceptional track that is filled with so much value, supplication, and worship to God Almighty. From the name and lyrics of the song, Nigbati Mo Ro, it is obvious that Tope Alabi conveyed this song in her regional dialect, Yoruba.
This is a song that emphasizes the wonderful things that the Almighty God does in our lives.
I play Tope Alabi's song to help me relax whenever I'm reflecting on the lessons life has taught me. She sings, but I also hear God's message; Tope Alabi is a true prophetess.
Psalm 9:10 “Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.” This situation just proves without a shadow of doubt that no matter what, God will never leave me hanging, he’ll always be with me. Because of that, I return the favor. I will always be with God.
SONG LYRICS
Translation in English
Lati inu oyun
From the womb
Titi di omo owo o
Till toddler
Igba mo wa lomo owo
When I was crawling
Awon ota gba wipe iku o pa mi
The enemies accepted death didn't take me
mo ra ko ro de ile olodia awon ti o fe n waye rara
I crawled to the enemy's abode that didn't even want me birthed
Baba o sho mi, ore re yi o lakawe
Father you watched me, your kindness is uncountable
Lati irakoro titi di omo irinse o sho mi
When crawling till I started walking ,you protected me
Titi mo fi wa di agbalagba o
Till I grew as adult
Igba ti mo ro, Ise Iyanu re laye mi
When I thought of you wonderful works in my life
Mo wa ri pe o oga o pupo
I realised you are so great
Igba ti mi ro ise iyanu re laye mi,
When I think about you miraculous work in my life
mori pe oga, mo ri pe o ga
I realised you're great, I realised you're great
Mo ri pe o ga Baba.
I realised you're great Father
Igba ti mo ro ise iyanu re laye mi,
When I thought of you wonderful works in my life
mori pe oga, mori pe oga, mori pe oga pupo.
I realised you're great, I realised you're great, I realised you're so great
Igba ti mi ro ise iyanu re laye mi,
When I think about you miraculous work in my life
Thank you for listening, God bless you all
